Anna Friel was pictured arriving at Soho House with a friend carrying a bouquet of flowers in London, England last week. She seemed to be all smiles as the paparazzi snapped photos of her.
Anna wore a pair of Goldsign Misfit skinny jeans in Motif with a Topshop Ombre Fringe jacket and open toe heels. When I first saw this jacket online a while back, I wasn’t sure what I thought of it as it’s quite a statement piece, but Anna manages to make it look really good! What do you think of the outfit? Buy Goldsign online at Shopbop.com and this jacket online at Topshop.com.

I have been asked by a few dedicated denim readers over time for my opinion on cheaper denim brands. I know here at DenimBlog we mainly only deal with premium denim as usually these are the brands which pay most attention to fit, details, denim and washes, however, I also understand that not everyone can afford the price tag that premium denim comes with. It is usually in the region of $180 and upwards, so it can be quite daunting to spend so much money on a pair of jeans.
This leaves you with two options, both of which I do myself. You can either buy your premium denim in the sale or on deal websites as outlined in my Cheap Designer Jeans post or you can opt for a cheaper denim option. When you do choose to go with the latter option, not all of the brands will have a good fit, a great quality denim or feel really nice to wear, so (like I have been asked) I am giving you my opinion on the jeans I wear and the jeans that I think are a great purchase for under $100! As you know, I am really fussy and particular when it comes to having great fitting jeans, so hopefully you will like this post as I am listing the cheaper brands that are definitely worth the money.
Liberty Ross got pictured by the paps as she stopped by a salon in Beverly Hills, California. She later did some shopping at American Rag. It’s nice to see her out looking happy and not letting the recent events between her husband and Kristen Stewart bother her. Well, at least not letting it show that it is.
Liberty wore an older pair of Topshop denim shorts with some blue heels and a simple white t-shirt for the day. I think these must be more than a year or two old since Topshop don’t seem to do the crossed line embroidery on their back pockets anymore. She looks amazing in these shorts though, I didn’t realise that her legs never ended!

Twilight star Ashley Greene graces the cover of the August 2012 Denim Issue of Nylon Magazine. On the cover she is wearing a pair of denim shorts by Element with a Vintage Blazer by Moschino and a T-Shirt and Bandanna by What Goes Around Comes Around. During the 4 page spread within the magazine, Ashley posed in more denim! She wore a shirt and a pair of jeans by Denim & Dupply Ralph Lauren and some shorts from Topshop and Guess. I love the styling for this editorial! I’ve also included some highlights below from the interview.
On her past modeling days:
“I knew I was never going to be a supermodel. I mean, I’m 5’5″—it’s not going to happen unless you’re Kate Moss, which I’m not. And until you hit a certain level in the modeling world, it’s really rough: You’re never tall enough, you’re never thin enough, there’s always another girl. It just wasn’t for me anymore.”
On her instant Twilight stardom:
“Right when I was cast, my IMDb STARmeter [a chart that tracks actors based on how many searches are done on them] went through the roof—all of ours did, and we hadn’t even done anything yet! Now I have to remind myself that not everything is always going to be like that.”
On dating and the paparazzi:
“Imagine going out with a girl one night, then the next day she’s like, ‘We’re hooking up! This is serious! It’s this overload of someone saying, ‘This is what this is, even though we’ve only been on one date and I don’t even know your middle name.’ Everything has a title immediately.”
