My denim review this week is on something different, a pair of short denim dungarees from Topshop. I’ve been a fan of the overalls/dungarees trend for a while and since it’s summer, the short versions are needed! I found these on the Topshop website a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with them. I ordered them in an instant and thought they were perfect!
We have been sharing countless denim overalls from designer brands with you over the months, but I thought it might be nice to share with you some really pretty short denim overalls with a much more affordable price tag.
I recently came across these Topshop MOTO Denim Short Dungarees and they are both under £40, which is much kinder on the purse! They each have a slouchy and more baggier fit, which will be perfect for little tees and crop tops underneath. I think my favourite one is the dark blue one and I actually have it ordered, so it will be with me soon! Which colour do you like the most? You can buy Topshop denim overalls, both long and short, online at their website by clicking here.
Beyonce was all smiles with husband Jay Z at the Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets game in New York. The singer wore a pair of the TOPSHOP Petite MOTO Leigh Jeans in Mid Stone with a leather jacket and some Saint Laurent sandals.
This isn’t the first time that we have seen Beyonce wear jeans from TOPSHOP. She has been seen in quite a few pairs actually, from printed styles to shorts and now in these classic blues. I think it is great to see someone of her stature in the fashion world wearing a more affordable brand. You can click here to purchase these jeans from the TOPSHOP website for $65.
For my weekend going out look this week, I wanted to do something that was a bit more hippy inspired, in time for Coachella. Everyone is thinking about what they are going to be wearing to the famous music festival, so I thought it would be a great time to do a look like this! Are any of you heading to the festival?
I chose these Topshop embroidered denim shorts as I thought they really reminded me of a festival. I love embroidered shorts as they always have that easy going vibe to them! Since it’s hot out there in the desert, I paired the shorts with this Topshop black lace bandeau as these are a great piece to keep cool in. To keep with the hippy theme, I chose these Forever 21 fringed sandals and then a Valentino C-Rockee fringe hobo bag to match. Just in case you aren’t too comfortable in such a small top, I chose a floral lace kimono in white to cover you up but keep the sun off too! Now onto the accessories, flowers are always a great choice! I chose an orange and white floral headband by Accessorize and then an orange one by New Look. I then finished the look off with a long gold necklace from 7 For All Mankind.
