For my weekend going out look this week, I wanted to do something that was a bit more hippy inspired, in time for Coachella. Everyone is thinking about what they are going to be wearing to the famous music festival, so I thought it would be a great time to do a look like this! Are any of you heading to the festival?
I chose these Topshop embroidered denim shorts as I thought they really reminded me of a festival. I love embroidered shorts as they always have that easy going vibe to them! Since it’s hot out there in the desert, I paired the shorts with this Topshop black lace bandeau as these are a great piece to keep cool in. To keep with the hippy theme, I chose these Forever 21 fringed sandals and then a Valentino C-Rockee fringe hobo bag to match. Just in case you aren’t too comfortable in such a small top, I chose a floral lace kimono in white to cover you up but keep the sun off too! Now onto the accessories, flowers are always a great choice! I chose an orange and white floral headband by Accessorize and then an orange one by New Look. I then finished the look off with a long gold necklace from 7 For All Mankind.
Spring is officially here and temperatures are finally starting to warm up. For my weekend going out look, I wanted to style a dress and I love the simple style and versatility of this Topshop T Shirt dress.
Since it is still a little chilly, I chose these Isabel Marant wedge boots because I love the slouchy shape and think they’ll look nice with the dress. I also added this scarf from Calypso to add some color and warmth. For accessories, I chose this bright cross body bag from Jimmy Choo because the color is perfect for spring and it is great for weekend errands. I finished with these pearl and spike earrings from Fallon, which add a nice touch of edge, and these Ray Ban sunglasses.
For this weekend going out look, I wanted to do something easy and comfortable for a days shopping or at the park. Spring is just around the corner and I’m definitely in the mood for wearing less layers. Some of you lucky ladies in a warmer climate like LA can wear this type of outfit right now though, which is why I styled it.
I chose this girly cream lace dress as I think it’s really comfortable and it makes anyone look put together and smart. To tone it down, I layered this Topshop denim fleece jacket over the top and would wear it un-buttoned to keep it casual. I thought a pair of flats would be better for shopping so I chose these H&M ankle boots to go with the style. I added this long gold anchor necklace for detail and this Jessica Simpson cross body bag to carry all of your essentials. To keep the sun off your face and give it a more laid back vibe, I threw on this cream floppy hat to finish it off.
We saw Julianne out in this dress last year when she wore it with a pair of Rag & Bone booties. I prefer the way she styled it with the booties, since I think it adds a bit of interest to the outfit. The dress is such a blank slate, I think some accessories or jewelery would make a nice addition to the look. What do you think of her look?
