Textile Elizabeth and James
Rachel Bilson was caught doing some shopping in Los Feliz, California. She wore a pair of Textile Elizabeth and James Stevie jeans in Dazed. I have been wondering when we would see Rachel wear some Textile. She loves vintage and these jeans have this brands exact aesthetic.
I think these jeans look great on Rachel. I like that she played with the whole 70′s feel of the jeans by pairing them with a white tee and platforms, yet Rachel doesn’t look dated because of her accessories. These jeans are no longer available, but you can click here to purchase one of the many other great styles by Textile at Shopbop.
The Icon himself, Steven Tyler, wore a pair of the Textile Elizabeth and James Jimi Patchwork jeans in Borderline during his interview with Oprah Winfrey for her new Oprah Next Chapter show. In the interview, he talks about his struggles in life, why he did them and how he overcame the battle.
I was actually wondering who we would see in these and I am happy to see that it is Steven Tyler. If there is someone that can pull these jeans off, I definitely think it is him. I don’t think that there will be anyone else that can wear them better. He is such a rock/fashion icon that he can wear anything and make people want to get whatever it is. You can click here to watch the interview and here to purchase these jeans ON SALE at Shopbop for $139.50.
Neon jeans are going to be HUGE for Spring (as we mentioned in this post). Leave it to Textile Elizabeth and James to come out with the trend without a dull neon color in sight. These are bright. I mean bright. Warning: You may need some sunglasses to look at these washes.
There are three washes and five styles. The Sunshine Lime come in the Crosby, Ruby Shorts, and their Sid Jacket. The Mick comes in the shocking pink and their core fit, the Jimi, comes in Aqua Glass. I think the Sunshine Lime is a great one and is my favorite. Probably the most versatile out of the three. Which are your favorites? You can click here to purchase all these styles at Shopbop.
Check out these new styles by Textile Elizabeth and James. They kept the true sole of the brand with these styles with the new details and washes.
There is their staple jean, the Jimi Flare. These come in three new washes; a clean blue, a distressed medium blue, and one with whipstitching on the outseams. The whipstitched pair would have to be my favorite out of the three. I think it is a great new take on their classic flares. I hope to see those out, Nicole Richie would look great in them.
They also brought back their Morrison jeans for Pre-Spring as well. Instead of the classic blue denim, Textile chose a technicolor wash. One style that I am so happy to see that they brought back are the Debbie jeans and they brought it back with a tear. Nothing beats a distressed jean in my mind. The Debbie jeans would have to be my favorite of the Textile jeans. One of the best skinny jeans that I have tried. You can check out all of the styles below.
