Textile Elizabeth and James
Who is best to promote your brand when you are an Olsen? When your style is as iconic as theirs, no one is better than yourself. Ashley Olsen did just that when she was spotted catching a flight out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California. The designer wore one of her own pieces from the new Spring 2013 Textile Elizabeth and James collection, the Johnny in Onyx with some Celine sneakers.
What I love about these jeans is that it is reminiscent of their Custom Maxfield’s jeans. Not exactly, but they have the same vibe. When I first saw them in the new look book (see here), I became instantly excited. Then when I saw that they came in black, I became elated. I cannot wait for these to be available! For the time being you can see what Textile has available at Shopbop.

Here is the exclusive first look at the new Textile Elizabeth and James Spring 2013 collection. Featured are classic blue and black washes that are reinterpreted with new innovative techniques.
Along with the classics, interesting details like distressing and zippers were incorporated into some of the styles. Their Ozzy and Lennox jeans come distressed in a wash called Rip and Repair, their new Cohen jean has piping going down the outseam, and zippers can be seen on their Davis and Johnny. A boyfriend style named Blaze and a high rise skinny named Cyndi are two new styles making their first appearance this season. You can see all of these styles along with many of the other new pieces below.
Alicia Keys is the next celebrity to be caught in the Textile Elizabeth and James Cooper Jeans in Olive Camo. She paired them with a leather paneled blazer and Marant sneakers as she was caught out and about in Paris, France.
I cannot say how excited I am to finally get sightings of these jeans. The Cooper has to be my favorite fit by Textile this season. I hope to see someone wear the Coated Red pair of these, those are my favorite next to the Olive Camo. You can click here to purchase these jeans at SINGER22 for $228.
It is great to get another sighting of Cheryl Cole. I remember a couple of years back when she would constantly make back-to-back appearances here on DenimBlog. I always liked that she was open to bolder styles and has a great style sense in general.
She was spotted in a pair of Textile Elizabeth and James Cooper Jeans in Olive Camo while making her way into the BBC Radio 1 Studios with her fellow band mates in London. When I saw her in these jeans, my first thought was “I cannot think of anyone else better suited for them.” The details of the zippers along with the camo print are perfect for her style. You can click here to purchase these jeans at SINGER22 for $228.
