Cheryl Cole in Double Denim

Cheryl Cole was spotted making her way into Fountain Studio’s in London to tape X-Factor. Cheryl was wearing the Robot Denim and Leather Jacket by Rick Owens DRKSHDW. I think this jacket is interesting. It is a denim leather mix with strong shoulders. I think Cheryl pulls it off though. She made it work by keeping her look monochromatic.

She paired the jacket with a pair of Sass&Bide The Lover Jeans. These jeans were last spotted on Elle MacPherson a couple of months back. I like the subtle seam detail at the front of these jeans. It adds interest without doing a lot. Unfortunately both Cheryl’s jeans and jacket are out of stock, but the style of the jacket isn’t. I am seriously loving the waxed denim / faux leather look denim! The latest celebrity to be caught rocking the trend is Elle MacPherson. She was see by the paps at the Julien Macdonald Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show for London Fashion Week in London, England. I’m liking her all black look here!

Elle’s jeans are a pair of skinny leather look jeans from Sass & Bide which she paired with ankle boots, a leather biker jacket and and a black top. I like that she added just a hint of colour with a silver belt. I have to say, Elle is my favourite UK celebrity to blog about, her style is always so different and she really knows how to put an outfit together. Not to mention her taste in denim, she has some of the hottest jeans out there!

Vanessa Hudgens in Sass & Bide

I think printed denim is going to be the next big thing, especially leopard. Vanessa Hudgens was spotted wearing her Sass & Bide Zippora Leopard jeans again. She was on her way to rehearsals for her new role in Rent. Vanessa will be playing Mimi. I think these are a great look on Vanessa and they fit her perfectly. She can really pull off many trends. She wears many of them but she is still able to keep it looking like a Vanessa Hudgens outfit.

I think this is a great trend for the women. I think that the leopard also doesn’t have to be in the tan/yellow tones either. I think that it will also look nice in a deep red or gray. I wonder which celebrities we will spot in this trend next? Who do you think would rock it the most?

For those who love the look of leather pants but are to scared to try them out or unable to get due to the price tag attached. No worries… Waxed denim is a great alternative, plus it is breathable. Waxed denim has always been big (look at G-Star), but it looks like many other brands are following behind. J Brand has come out with their 901 leggings in three different waxed looks. Current/Elliott has recently come out with their waxed jeggings and Victoria Beckham has a pair with many zippers.
