You may have just read the exclusive interview with Rebecca Minkoff this morning, but here is her official look book for her Spring/Summer 2013 denim collection. You can see the classic skinny jeans and shorts showcased in a very Californian way.
I love the easy laid back vibe this look book has and how much it reminds me of summer! I also adore the blue washed out skinny jeans and the blue and white china style print jeans! You can see the rest of the images in the gallery below. Do you like the new Rebecca Minkoff spring/summer 2013 look book?
As you may have already heard, Rebecca Minkoff recently expanded her company and ventured into a denim line! Her jeans have already been seen on popular fashion bloggers and I can definitely see them being a hit with the celebrities! I caught up with Rebecca to find out more about her new venture into denim and see what she had to say! You can read the interview below and you can see some of the new styles in the gallery as well! Have any of you tried Rebecca Minkoff denim yet? I will also be posting her look book later today! You can also buy the jeans online here.
DB: Hi Rebecca, thank you for doing this interview with us. What made you want to start doing denim?
I love denim and I wanted to give my customer another casual staple to add to her wardrobe. It was important to me that the jeans be a premium quality, but also a great price for my customer. Our price range for the denim and t-shirts is $48 – $128.
DB: I’ve personally been a fan of your bags for a while, did you make sure your jeans would suit the style of your bags or have you kept them separate?
I didn’t design the denim line with the bags in mind, necessarily, but I’d like to think that you can definitely wear the two together! One of my favorite pairs right now is the Mercer boyfriend with our new Logan backpack.
A very colorful collection walked down at the Fall/Winter 2012 Rebecca Minkoff show at New York Fashion Week this season. This has to be the happiest collection that I have seen, so far, walk down the runway. Yes the colors are Fall inspired, but there was a young vibe in the looks that helped give it life.
To make the show a little bit more fun, Theophilus London performed in head-to-toe leather. There were some great pieces. I think the peacoat above is a really great new take with the velvet paneling. The jacket from Look 20 is another amazing piece. You can see the collection below.
Celebrities like Heidi Klum, Amanda Seyfried and Katie Holmes are all fans of the leopard print jean trend, each showing how versatile the print can actually be. Brands like Current/Elliott, J Brand, Joe’s and AG all have popular styles. Check out some of the picks below:
