Rag & Bone Jeans

We’ve been having some unseasonably warm weather on the East Coast and it has me in the mood for Spring! Keeping the warmer weather in mind and the fact I wanted to do something different for my Weekend Going Out look, I chose these Rag & Bone Mila shorts in gray to style. I really like the gray wash and slight distressing.

However, since it is still January and to keep them weather appropriate, I layered them over a pair of Miss Selfridge black opaque tights. For a top, I chose this leather Chicnova tee shirt because I like that the shape is more casual and the leather gives it a dressier feel, perfect for going out. For the accessories, I wanted a black boot that would look good paired with the tights and I liked the subtle studs on these Giuseppe Zanotti booties. To add some color, I chose this Clare Vivier green clutch, this colorful Iosselliani necklace, and a bold orange ring from Kenneth Jay Lane. I think this look could work equally as well once the weather warms up by skipping the tights and swapping the booties for a pair of sandals or heels.
