Rag & Bone Jeans

For our second styling post for SSENSE this month, I got to style a jean of my choice from their entire selection. I chose the J Brand Super Skinny jeans in Veruca because I think they are such a classic pair. You can literally go in any direction with your outfit as they make a great base to start with.

Since it’s summer, I wanted to go down the route of having fun with bright colours and cool designs, so I paired the jeans with this bright orange Theyskens’ Theory Orange Franky Bruna Blouse and I added a pop of bright pink with this Proenza Schouler Medium Pink PS1 Satchel. To give some height and leg length, I went with the Giuseppe Zanotti Black Suede Jem Wedges because I think they look like so much fun! The missing heel would give the impression your legs look longer from the side and the ankle strap will help keep them secure on your feet. Now for the accessories, I chose an I Adorn U Las Vegas Brass Necklace (not available on SSENSE) to add some cheekiness to the look and a Alexander McQueen Gold Spiral Skull and Stone bracelet to make it more edgy. I finished the outfit off with rag & bone’s Dark Tortoise Ridley sunglasses to make it more casual. I think the cat eye shape pulls it together nicely!
