Victoria Beckham was spotted arriving back into Los Angeles, California at LAX Airport. The designer wore a pair of R13 Kate Skinny Jeans in Orion Black with some red suede pumps and a coat from her own line.
I can see Victoria wearing R13 more and really favoring the brand. They make washes that are not too pristine and always have a sense of grit to them. They are washes that we have seen Victoria favor many times when featured here on DenimBlog. Whether it be from her own line or others. Click here to purchase these jeans from Saks for $325.
When it comes to bomber jackets, denim is not usually the top choice as fabric. It can lean towards the dated very easily when it is, but R13 has found a way to make it feel of this time and cool again with their new A-2 Flight Jacket.
Keeping the slight worn vintage aesthetic and cool essence of the brand, the style can take the ordinary look to a vibe of its own. What do you think of this new jacket? Click here to purchase this jacket now from SHOPBOP.
The Drop Crotch jeans are just one of the many forward thinking pairs that R13 have to offer for Spring. You may have remembered the post on the black plaid pair not too long ago, but these pants also come in a worn blue denim, as well as red plaid. As choosing just one of those pairs was hard, I decided to style each pair here.
The Black Plaid pair would have to be my favorite out of the three pairs here. The choice of plaid and the color all work seamlessly and feels fluid. With this pair I got that Yōji Yamamoto and Commes des Comme des Garçons feel that I said before, but I also get this Haider Ackermann sense a bit as well, depending on how they are styled. When paired with more streamlined and edgier pieces, they definitely take on a similar aesthetic to Ackermann. I chose to pair them with a leather blazer by a Band of Outsiders and boots by Haider (similar). Then as those pieces are very strong, I wanted to go clean with other pieces like this La Garçonne Moderne and a simple white t shirt (similar here).
As the denim pair of these has more of an easier feel than the plaids, I went for something very easy with a slight Eastern Orient feel as it is the vibe that it first gave off to me when I saw them. As blue denim is easier than a black pair, I went with a Steven Alan wrap cardigan over a more structured wrap jacket. I then chose sandals by Lanvin because the cropped fit works really well with multi-strap sandals and kept the top simple with a tank by La Garçonne Moderne. To finish off the look, I chose rings by Margiela.
This pair in Red Plaid feels the most street out of the three. They can easily be paired with flat boots, I actually think they are best worn with them, and a belt like these by Rag & Bone and Karl Lagerfeld. As they feel edgier, I went with a tougher shirt like this muscle by R13. I then chose a jacket by ACNE to pull the whole look together.

When it comes to plaid pants, getting the right color combination along with fit is hard to come by. R13 has made it easier. Sticking with their vision of thinking outside of the normal, they have come out with a style that is truly their own.
With a drop crotch and a monochrome plaid print, these pants will give you more mileage than you could have ever thought of. Pair them with a fitted tank or a slouchy button up and tailored jacket for a Yōji Yamamoto and Comme des Garçons vibe. These pants are nothing but cool! Purchase these pants from FARFETCH for $375.
