Dakota Johnson was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills, California. The actress and Vogue cover girl wore a pair of R13 Low Skinny Jeans in Tinted Black with some loafers and a khaki varsity jacket.
This look here on Dakota makes me think of her mother Melanie Griffith with the styling. With the way the jeans fit and the choice of pairing the jacket and belt together, I can definitely see her mom wearing something just like it. What do you think of the way she styled the jeans here? Spring/Summer 2015 is definitely the season of experimenting for R13. The forward thinking brand has taken denim and created pieces that are unexpected and untouched by many before. Keep in mind that this is the label that popularized the chap style.
For Spring/Summer, the styles were kept mostly relaxed. From baggy layered shorts to baggy/dropcrotch jeans and even denim outerwear, they have done what they do best and that is thinking outside the box of what is in the market. They are definitely styles that their loyal followers are sure to be anxious in trying.
Which pieces have grabbed your interest? You can see all the new styles that they are offering for the new season below.
I love these jeans. I have them and they are one of the most comfortable pairs that I own. Not only do they have a great wash, but they have so much comfort and fit to them. How many of you also own and love these jeans? You can click here to purchase these jeans from SHOPBOP for $325.
Green and black has to be one of my all time favorite combinations. The colors just mesh so well and never feel as though they are clashing, which is what I went for here. I chose the R13 High Rise Skinny Jeans in Dirty Black because I just absolutely love the wash. The fades are well done and I also think they are one of the better fitting high rise jeans out right now.
I paired the jeans with a t shirt by Current/Elliott because I always liked the idea of cleaning up something like a vintage rocker tee. Which is why I chose this coat by Elizabeth and James. It has a smart cut without feeling too fussy. Then to dress it down, slip-on sneakers by Schutz. They are still one of my favorite pairs out right now because of the texture that they give any look. Then to tie it all together, some glasses by Stella McCartney because the shape of the frames work well with the shape of the coat. How many of you are also a fan of this combination?
