Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was spotted leaving her hotel in New York over the weekend. She wore a pair of bleached out Pierre Balmain Skinny Zip jeans with a red leather jacket and some Opening Ceremony boots.
I am happy to see the Pierre Balmain jeans finally out on someone and Rosie is the best person to be caught in them first. I like the little details on these jeans, like the bleached out wash and the zipper pocket. The little monogram is what caught my eye though. I didn’t realize that it said “PB” at first. It is a great detail that is subtle but still stands out. You can click here to purchase Pierre Balmain from FARFETCH.
Here is the new Pierre Balmain Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Though lower priced, the fashion house did not shy away from the luxury, cool aesthetic that is well associated with the brand.
For this season, the pieces were more minimal than the previous. The silhouettes were slim and body-con, yet had an ease to them. There are many great pieces. The jackets, like always from Balmain and Pierre Balmain, were perfection. The studded one above is to die for. I am also lusting over the canvas jacket with the shearling collar for the men. There is another piece that I am quite fond of and that is the harem pants. You can see the collection below.
Jennifer Aniston graces the cover of the new March 2012 GQ issue with her Wanderlust co-star Paul Rudd, shot by Terry Richardson. She wore a Pierre Balmain skirt in the shot above. It is interesting to see a denim skirt now. The style hasn’t been seen on anyone in a while.
I love this cover. It is so different than what is usually put out. The shoot itself is great too. Jennifer and Paul look like they were having so much fun. I also cannot wait to see Wanderlust. It looks so hilarious. You can click here to purchase this skirt at LUISAVIAROMA for $260.
