Justin Theroux in Nudie and Terry Richardson in Levi’s
Justin Theroux was spotted having a quick chat with Terry Richardson in New York after having a quick lunch at The Smile Cafe. Justin wore a pair of Nudie Jeans while Terry opted for his usual Levi’s 501′s.
I really like Justin’s jeans. I love the black/blue wash of them and I think they fit Justin great. I miss writing about Nudies. There hasn’t been any sightings of them since “The Usual Suspects” have been hiding. I wonder if they will pull theirs back out of their closets and wear them about town? LOOK BOOK: Nudie Fall/Winter 2011 Part 1
Here is part one of the Nudie Fall/Winter 2011 Look Book. I have split it into 2 blog posts because there are so many new styles. This unfortunately is not all of them either so I only selected the best ones in my opinion and the most popular cuts.
As usual they have loads of styles and cuts in some amazing washes. They have of course carried on with the raw denim too. What do you think of the new styles? Nudie Jeans Awarded Swedish Eco Label
Here is some great news about Nudie Jeans. They have just won the Swedish Eco label “Bra Miljöval” or “Good Environmental Choice” for all their second hand jeans. Nudie has always been about being eco-friendly with their denim whether it be their eco-line or what they are doing right now with the second hand pairs.
Customers will be able get a discount on new purchases if they leave their old jeans to them. They in turn will remake and repair each pair in a personal way and sell them again, tagged with the new “Good Environmental Choice” label says Karin Stenmar, CSR Manager at Nudie Jeans. I think this is a great idea. One, because you get a great pair of worn in raw jeans and two each pair will have their own unique whiskering. The main reason though is that you are helping out the environment. Nothing will make you feel better than helping.
