Ellen Page was caught during a quick drop to the pharmacy in West Hollywood, California. The actress paired together the MOTHER Denim Foxy Boxy Shirt in Broken Wing with a pair of the J Brand L8001 Leather Leggings.
I like that Ellen tends to stick to slouchier styles when it comes to not only her jeans, but just in general with her clothing. We have seen androgyny before, but we haven’t seen them take it to the point that Ellen does and I find it refreshing. What do you think of her style? The denim shirt has been given an artisanal touch from MOTHER Denim. They have taken the classic piece and given it a Southwestern feel that is just mind blowing. It’s the perfect piece that will update your usual double denim look to something that feels rustic.
The embroidery is not the only thing that has caught my eye, but the choice of the dark wash as well. So with every wear, the shirt will start to feel more rustic and personal with the fades that it will surely get over time. I can’t wait to see it out.
Not only do they have the embroidered piece, classic ones are also available for ones that like a little more subtlety. They come in worn black and blue washes that are soft, but don’t compromise the true feeling of denim. You can check out these cool pieces below. Click here to purchase MOTHER from SHOPBOP.
Kaley Cuoco was caught on her way out of the Andy LeCompte Salon in Los Angeles, California. The actress kept warm in a double denim look with a MOTHER Denim Cabin Fever Jacket in Always Look Twice and a pair of Rag & Bone Skinny Jeans in Rock w/ Holes and some Givenchy sandals.
The sherpa on this jacket is super soft when I felt it. I also find the style to be very fresh. We usually see the sherpa lining on the inside and seeing it reversed like this style here gives it almost a bohemian vibe that I quite like. What do you think on the jacket? You can click here to purchase MOTHER and here for her jeans.

MOTHER have such a cool wash, called Clear As Day, and it’s available in their famous cuts: The Looker, The Looker Ankle Fray and The Dropout.
The brand state that the indigo is removed through a unique hand bleaching process, creating the subtle light blue finish. I think it looks really cool. It reminds me of a pair of 80′s jeans, but the denim looks like it’s literally been stripped of its colour! It’s pretty interesting! You can shop their jeans online at Shopbop by clicking here.
