January Jones was snapped while out with her son at a local playground. She wore a brand we’ve never seen her in before, Mother! She chose a pair of Mother The Pixie Jeans in Fashionably Late with a white cardigan and flats.
January seems to be trying out a lot of new denim brands as of late, but I’ve noticed that she tends to stick to the same silhouettes. She usually chooses styles with a higher rise and a slim ankle fit or a wide/flare leg. She definitely knows what works for her when it comes to fit, but I’d love to see her try a boyfriend style or something with a bit more slouch. You can buy Mother jeans online from Shopbop.com.
Jennifer Garner was seen snapping a photo of the paparazzi after picking her son up from a play class. Jennifer wore a pair of Mother The Muse skinny jeans in Graffiti Girl with a button down blouse and leather jacket.
One thing that I love about Mother jeans (besides the jeans themselves) is the clever names for the washes! I always love finding out what the new washes are called.
This is the fist time that we’ve seen Jennifer out in this particular wash from Mother, but knowing her tendency to re-wear the same pair frequently, I’m sure we’ll be seeing her in these a lot! You can buy Mother jeans online from Revolveclothing.com.
We haven’t seen Jennifer out in this particular wash before, it is similar to her pair in deep blue, but has a bit more distressing and fading. I like how natural the fading on these looks, it’s almost as if they have been broken after a ton of wears. You can buy these jeans on sale from Piperlime for $154.
I chose the Pixie in Fashionably Late by MOTHER Denim as my choice to style this week for my ‘Going Out’ look. You may have remembered reading how much of a fan I am of them and I couldn’t think of a better style to choose this week. With the high-rise and slight crop, they were perfect for the slight retro vibe that I was going for.
Being that these are a higher rise, I thought a boxy crop top like this one by Topshop would work really well with them. It has a length that is just cropped enough to skim the waistband of the jeans to show a tad of skin. But as the weather is starting to cool down, I couldn’t not add a sweater. This one by Scotch & Soda has a great fit and texture to it and adds great dimension to the look.
To finish everything off, some cool ankle boots by Toga and a Givenchy bag to add some heavy metal to the outfit. Then just for a little added fun touch, I decided to top everything off with a military hat by Eugenia Kim to add a bit of a quirk to the overall feel of the look. How many of you are excited to don a similar outfit for the weekend?
