Here is the brand new Miss Sixty Spring 2016 global ad campaign, featuring supermodel Natalia Vodianova. Miss Sixty is re-positioning itself as a luxury denim brand, recently opening a new concept store in Westfield White City with more stores to follow, including Brompton Road. What do you think of this as a new venture for the brand?
They are exploring femininity of denim through trend-led pieces for this new campaign, which was shot in London by a team of top international photographers and stylists. Here is the brand new Miss Sixty Fall/Winter 2015 Campaign, starring supermodel Natalia Vodianova as the new face. It’s an amazing campaign and I think the dress above made out of denim with jeans print all over it is fascinating. I haven’t seen anything like this before, have you? You can check out the shots below and also read some of the press release about the new campaign images.
Fourteen years on from Natalia Vodianova’s first-ever major campaign with Miss Sixty, the Russian model lovingly nicknamed Supernova delivers a dose of sexy runway glamour to the new campaign’s rock-chic narrative.
To help celebrate the occasion, a star-studded campaign team came together. Behind the lens is celebrated photographic duo, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, styling was entrusted to praised and industry-favourite Edward Enniful, Make-up artist to the stars Val Garland lends the campaign her cosmetic charms, while hairdressing impresario Angelo Seminara flexes some serious follicular flair.
Shot in London at Ambleside House, the new campaign features key styles from the Miss Sixty Couture collection together with the main collection pieces that embrace denim mixed with other seasonal materials such as wool. A rock’n’roll inspired aesthetic can be seen through styling element such as leather gloves worn by Miss Vodianova as she leans against a motorcycle in a V-neck denim dress with design details that include 3D printing techniques. The collection also brings together design details including irregular stitching combining leather and coats with moto-military elements to underling the collection’s rock’n’roll leanings.

A lot of celebrities have been seen out wearing denim dresses, which I think is a perfect look for summer. Accessorize them however you want and you can make a casual or dressier outfit. I chose the three looks below because I think they represent 3 different ways to wear this trend.
I love Jessica Alba’s look of her denim Isabel Marant dress paired with chunkier boots. The boots make the dress a little less girly and sweet. You could just as easily pair this with a pair of flip flops for the pool or wedges for a fun night out.
This dress from Surface to Air has a great cut and could easily be accessorized with a great necklace and shoes! It retails for $276 here.
LeAnn Rimes chose to take a bit of a sexier route by wearing this corset style mini dress from Lover. This dress is currently on sale for $283.50 at Net-a-porter but if that is still out of your budget, check out some of the alternatives below.
This dark denim dress from Voom retails for $104 and can be purchased here.
This sweet little dress just needs perfect heels to take it from sweet to sexy. It retails for $63 from Modcloth.
While I was not too fond of Liv Tyler’s Stella McCartney jumper style denim dress, I think that a jumper style dress has great potential and could be a basic that works from spring with a cardigan over it to winter layered with a tee and boots.
This adorable dress from Asos shows enough leg not to be matronly but still lends the possibility to be conservative by layering it with a tee or tank (like Liv). It retails for $60 here.
Back in NYC to film her newest show, Mischa Barton takes her dog Ziggy for a walk in a pair of Miss Sixty skinny jeans with an ankle zipper. Mischa has been the source of controversy regarding her health but she’s looking good in these pictures, so let’s hope she’s healthy now!
