Denim coats are a trend that has had a minor moment before, but I can definitely see it becoming more prominent. Whether it be a longer take on the classic trucker or a classic trench style like this one by MiH.
This is a coat that won’t look like you are dressing up in a costume. The new Raglan coat feels vintage, but MiH has a way with working with denim that infuses the ’70s sensibility that they are known for in a modern way. The clean lines give the easy feel of the robes that artists just throw over when working, yet it works for the streets.
You can layer it over sweaters and hoodies to give it an edgy appeal or wear it buttoned up and belted for a smart trench feel. However you style the piece, this is one that we will definitely be seeing more reiterations of in the coming year. What do you think of the idea of a denim coat? These photos of Kate Bosworth arriving at LAX are a couple of weeks old but I loved how she styled MiH’s Nico pants in black here. The whole outfit has a really retro 60’s style vibe, especially with the oversize sunglasses and kitten heels.
It is hard to tell from these photos but these pants are velvet, which I think adds to the 60’s vibe. I love velvet for the cooler months and I think that these could also be styled in a really modern way with structured pieces and a great pair of heels. Kirsten Dunst was caught making her way through LAX Airport after arriving back into Los Angeles, California. The actress wore a pair of the MiH Marrakesh in Bee Wash with a striped t shirt as she held onto her sweater.
We haven’t had many sightings of the Marrakesh lately. They are absolutely one of my favorite flares to see out because MiH just got the cut right with them. They just look amazing on everyone and they are a cut that is so easily styled, whether you choose to wear them casually or dress them up. I am definitely hoping to get more sightings of MiH again.
