The new Meltin’Pot jeans campaign/look book for the Fall Winter 2013 season ahead is a pure celebration of the double-edged side of life. Taking the left instead of the right and seeing life from a different perspective is something we fully embrace. Meltin’Pot make denim for real people who share the brand’s passion and who live life to the fullest- Where life takes you!
Meltin’Pot, season upon season, present fine examples of pure tailored modernism of distinction. This season sees the re-launch of the iconic – B-Side jean – an historical model for the brand, first launched back in 1994 when the brand was created, as denim aficionados will well remember. B-Side for both men and women and made from a single piece of fabric and is totally reversible. One jean and 2 totally different looks and the collection also boasts a series of reversible tops too. B-Side is another example of the brand’s ability to successfully combine expertise with contemporary innovation.
The campaign and look book were shot in Florence by Italian photographers Flavio and Frank, in an off the wall, bohemian location and play with this asymmetric style, featuring shots positioned at a irregular angles. The models used represent real life fans of Meltin’Pot and bring alive the energy of the brand and its perspective on life. The new collection will be in store from September in fine denim stores Internationally.
Meltin’Pot, the Italian jeans brand, is being worn by key members of the Rolling Stones, to wear on stage for their 50 & Counting Tour… which already hit the UK at Glastonbury musical festival and will be followed by 2 gigs in London’s Hyde Park. Meltin’Pot have created bespoke jeans for Ronnie Wood, Charlie Watts and other members of the band for this Bigger Bang tour, which embrace the energy of this timeless band.
The brand has worked with each of the artists via the stones stylist to realise a different style of jean for Ronnie, and Charlie which are mainly skinny, straight leg fit styles in seasonal gem like colours and in unique Meltin’Pot fabrics. “Augusto Romano, CEO of Meltin’Pot commented: “It is a proud moment for us to have been asked to make jeans for The Rolling Stones once again and to be a part of this amazing tour and these memorable forthcoming dates”.
I think this is a cool kind of collaboration and I will be interested in seeing how the guys wear the jeans while performing this weekend! How many of you wear Meltin’ Pot jeans?
Here is a look at the new Meltin’ Pot Spring Summer 2013 campaign, which is different to their look book that we featured last week. The video features a group of guys and girls on a road trip, having fun in the evening sun while wearing the brands clothes. There’s always something about seeing summer videos, it reminds me of so much fun and relaxation! I love it. What do you think?
Here is the new Spring Summer 2013 Look Book from Meltin Pot. They have lots of styles coming out, which you can see in the gallery below, but my favourite look is the one above with the double denim.
I also really like some of the coloured jeans, denim shirts and the general overall styling of the outfits. They look really laid back and easy going, which just reminds me so much of the summer! What do you think of the new styles?
