Have you ever wondered just how a pair of premium denim jeans are made? Mavi show you how! They have put together a video showing the process they go through as a denim brand in order to create their jeans.
In the video you can see everything from the template cutting, stitching, embroidery and applying the hardware to washing, stone blasting, distressing, adding whiskers and creases and fit testing. They call it their ‘Denim Kitchen’ and I think it’s a great exclusive look inside the world of denim! Check out the video above! I definitely enjoyed it!
Like the women’s collection, the Mavi men’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection features a lot of lighter gray and blue washes, in a variety of slim and boot cut styles.
The collection also includes a lot of denim shirts, which we are starting to see more often in men’s styles, but have included both a variety of patterns and washes. Check out the look book below.
Mavi’s Spring/Summer collection is light and bright and perfect for warmer weather. The washes in this collection are on the lighter side, light and acid washed blues, as well as a couple of deeper indigo washes.
While the traditional skinny and boot cuts are available, the collection added some trendier silhouettes including denim vests, overalls, and a slim boyfriend style. Check out the look book below.
Earlier you saw the women’s Fall/Winter 2013 Mavi Look Book, but here is a look at the new men’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
Like normal, they have a few less styles than the ladies, but the men’s collection features coloured and coated denim, along with twills as another fabric choice. Again, I love the styling here with the shirts, jackets and hi tops with the slim fitting jeans, I think they look good. I’m quite impressed with the new styles from Mavi actually, I really like a lot of the pieces this coming season!
