Earlier you saw the women’s Fall/Winter 2013 Mavi Look Book, but here is a look at the new men’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
Like normal, they have a few less styles than the ladies, but the men’s collection features coloured and coated denim, along with twills as another fabric choice. Again, I love the styling here with the shirts, jackets and hi tops with the slim fitting jeans, I think they look good. I’m quite impressed with the new styles from Mavi actually, I really like a lot of the pieces this coming season!
Here is the brand new Fall/Winter 2013 Look Book from Mavi for the ladies. The new collection features fun prints, coated denim and embellishments, including studded and moto-inspired jeans with zippers.
A lot of the prints are reminding me of tapestry and they look really pretty, especially the pair with the green and blue hues above, styling those with the purple shirt was perfect! There’s also a really pretty blue distressed pair of skinnies in this collection which I love! What do you think of the new Fall/Winter 2013 collection from Mavi? Which pieces do you want to own?
Fergie was spotted out Christmas shopping back in December for kitchen appliances with her husband Josh Duhamel in West Hollywood, California.
Fergie wore a pair of Mavi’s Serena Grey Floral Print skinny jeans with studded silver flats and a black long coat. I have only tried one pair of Mavi jeans before, and those were their mint skinny jeans. They seemed really nice for their low price point. You can purchase these jeans on Fergie on their website for only $98.

This weeks review is on a pair of Mavi Serena Ankle skinny jeans in Mint which I received as a gift from the brand, but since I haven’t reviewed Mavi before, I thought I would review these for you all.
This was my first time trying Mavi jeans and for a cheaper denim brand, again I was quite suprised with them. The fit is really nice, it’s very flattering all over and the back pockets are really nicely positioned as well. The rise is a lower/mid rise and the inseam is supposed to be at the ankle, but since I have shorter legs it actually bunches a little bit. So they work perfectly for long length skinny jeans or for cropped ankle jeans. I can say I’m quite impressed by the Serena fit, I found it very flattering on me and they passed my strict butt flattering tests!
The fabric of these jeans is pretty much like a jegging. It’s very thin though so it can be a little bit on the see through side and also, as I’m sure you can see, it shows up any bumps/lumps that you may have so it’s not a jean that would suck you in and hold your shape, it’s a jean that sits on you and shows your shape. If that makes sense. Because of how stretchy and thin they are, they do wrinkle quite a lot as you can see, but the comfort of these definitely overrides that issue, for me anyway.
Now the best thing about these jeans is the Mint wash. I absolutely love it! I have some mint leggings, but not any mint jeans, which is shocking I know since it’s a very popular colour. It’s such a bright and fun pastel shade of green, it’s gorgeous. Depending on your computer screen, it does look like my photos, it’s not as pale as the photo on the Mavi website in my opinion. Mine seem a little bit brighter than that. But it’s definitely beautiful, I really like the Mint wash.
Overall, for $92 or £62.90, depending on your country of residence, they are a great pair of jeans. They are cotton and elastane so very soft and comfortable, they have a great fit and the colour is stunning. They are perfect jeans for warm weather due to their thinness, I wouldn’t say they are great for the winter though as you might get cold in them, but definitely great summer jeans! You can buy these online here at Mavi for £62.90.
