Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2012

The Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2012 collection is probably the most whimsical that has ever walked New York Fashion Week… EVER. I found it to be a really fun one to look at. The color palette was great. It was refreshing to see the bubblegum pink.

You can’t deny that the Dr. Seuss hats were for sure the stand out of the whole show, probably all of Fashion Week. I strangely like them a lot. I can see the magazines already doing pulls for them to shoot on Karlie Kloss. The shapes were also pretty amazing. They had the essence of vintage couture from the greats. We rarely, if ever, see pieces like these in a RTW line. After seeing this, I m interested in seeing what Marc does for Louis Vuitton. You can see the whimsiness in all it’s glory below.
