Levi’s has been one the most trusted names in denim and has been around for nearly a century. This fall, Levi’s has chosen to celebrate one of its most trusted partnerships, one that has been fundamental for the growth of the brand, by launching the XX 501 Cone collection. In 1915, Cone became the fabric supplier for Levi’s 501 and continues into present day. The idea behind the collection was staying true to the fabric, which would appeal to the fit which made Levi’s so famous.
The collection will feature lightweight fabric that was specially developed for Levi’s. It will also feature the “Homer” style, which was a fit from 1915, which was named for the original owner. The jeans will also feature exposed rivets, cinched back, two pockets, suspender buttons, leather horse patch. Purchase a pair and you’ll also receive a celebratory shoulder bag.
Both technology and fashion can be hard industries to keep up on, it seems like they’re always changing. However, LG has teamed with Levi’s to combine them both in a PC. The notebook will feature Levi’s sketch on of the X120 notebook and a denim carrying case. They will be released on July 24th in Korea for 28 days and only 2,500 will be released. The entire press release can be read here.
What are your thoughts? Do you love denim this much?
Adam Lambert performs at American Idols Live! Tour 2009 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California wearing a custom studded Levi’s vest, a denim shirt and studded jeans. We told you studded denim was hot and Adam has taken the studded trend almost over the top, but I think rockstars (or even wanna-be rockstars) can get away with the over the top look. I actually love this whole outfit on him, well done Adam!

President Barack Obama wore a pair of Levi Red Tab 501 Jeans as he took to the pitcher’s mound to throw out the first pitch of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in St. Louis. Did you ever expect to see Obama in a pair of Levi’s?
