Levi’s has teamed up with Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles to feature artists from their Art in the Streets exhibition. The artists will be designing art work for the back of Levi’s trucker jackets. There will be 10 jackets released overall, each by a different artist with the final jacket being a tribute to the late Keith Haring. The collaboration doesn’t stop there however, at the museum, Levi’s has also established a film center, which will host workshops on film making as well as allow for onsite films to be created and then automatically uploaded to Vimeo. You can view the workshop schedule on the Levi’s website here.
The jackets retail for $250 and 100% of the proceeds with benefit MOCA.
Taylor Lautner was snapped on his way to make an appearance for Jimmy Kimmel Live. He was a guest on the show to promote his newest film, Abduction. It definitely seems like a change from his role in the Twilight series. I’m sure Taylor is ready to branch out and play different characters.
Before his appearance, Taylor wore a simple white tee shirt, a pair of Levi’s 511 skinny jeans in Slick Mick and leather sneakers. I really like the darker wash of these jeans and I definitely think that they look good on him! You can buy these Levi’s jeans online at Levis.com.
Sharon Stone was seen leaning against a wall by an elevator while waiting to retrieve her vehicle in Beverly Hills, California. She chose an outfit that was very masculine and boyish. I can’t say I am a fan of it as I love girly clothes but it seems to suit her vibe.
She chose a Levi’s denim shirt, a pair of Robin’s Jeans Military Capris, Doc Martin style boots, a plaid shirt and a neck scarf. It’s definitely an odd outfit to pair together but I do like the Levi’s shirt a lot. I have a few of their shirts and quite a lot of their jeans and I think the brand is great for its price.
