Miley Cyrus poses for the paparazzi outside her car in Toluca Lake, CA. Miley is preparing for her upcoming performance for the European Music Awards on MTV. Eva Longoria will serve as the host of the awards. The show will premier on November 7th and feature other celebrities like Rihanna.
Miley really seems to love her cut off Levi’s shorts these days. She paired them with a white tee, layers of necklaces and colored cowboy boots. Miley has worn cut off Levi’s a couple of times in the past month. She’s such a cute girl, I’m not sure why she doesn’t choose a pair of shorts that are more flattering!
Actor Ryan Rottman took a trip down to the LA Levi’s Showroom in Los Angeles, California the other day. He tried on a few of the new seasons Levi’s items including a Sawtooth Western Shirt in Rinse Denim which he wore with the 510 Super Skinny jeans in Sidewalk and then he opted for the Yellowstone CPO Jacket in Blue/Black Buffalo Check for another outfit.
I have to say that Ryan looks a lot better in these outfits than he did in his previous Levi’s ensemble. The photo above with the denim shirt and lighter coloured jeans is perfect, everything flatters him and that’s the right way to wear double denim! Levi’s recently premiered their Curve ID line, which is aimed to provide fits that fit a woman’s curve and individual body type. As research for the line, Levi’s heavily researched and polled different women throughout the world. Now, they are taking it to the next step by launching a global community. The brand is attempting to connect women across the world with social media.
The global community, which launched October 18th in the US, UK, and Japan, allows women across the world to connect with Levi’s 20 brand ambassadors. Each of the Levi’s ambassadors is from a different walk of life and background, and will post blogs, videos and tweets on how they achieved their success. Users are also encouraged to create a profile, including their goals and aspirations.
The global director for Women’s marketing notes that the motivation behind this campaign is to appeal to the target audience of 25-29 year olds. As director Mary Alderet explains, “Today young women face more opportunity in their twenties than any other generation of women before them. It’s important we understand their mindset and their cultural and societal impact.” She hopes that the community will become, “a global platform of women coming together to share, inspire, grow and shape their lives.”
