A couple of weeks ago at the Levi’s Haus in Los Angeles, the brand celebrated the Levi’s partnership with will.i.am and Coca Cola. For this partnership, Levi’s created a limited edition 501 jean for EKOCYCLE, a social movement founded by legendary musician and producer will.i.am and Coca-Cola. The limited edition 501 jean is made of post-consumer waste (8 plastic bottles to be exact).
The jeans are available on Levis.com as well as in select Levi’s stores and they retail for $128! The idea behind all of this is to show the everyday recycling choices made by Levi’s and to change the way consumers think about and treat waste. I think it’s a really cool idea and I’m always a big fan of will.i.am, so I’m glad he’s behind it! You can check out the images in the gallery below.
Levi’s is celebrating 140 years of a cultural icon – The Levi’s 501! It’s amazing to think that the classic 501 cut, which is still popular today, was first brought onto the scene back in 1873! For this little celebratory campaign (titled Happy Birthday, Mr. Blue Jean), Levi’s has put together some quotes from designers, even a timeline of the 501′s evolution and a cool video which you can watch above.
Alessandra Ambrosio was seen running errands before stopping to grab some coffee. Alessandra wore yet another pair of shorts. This time she wore a pair of high rise cut off Levi’s shorts, which she paired with a tie-dye blouse and sandals.
I really like the wash on these, how they have creasing and distressing in the right places, they look like a really worn in vintage pair. Plus, the high waist style, which can be hard to pull off, looks great on her. You can get more tips on how to wear high waisted jeans and shorts here.

Andrew Garfield was seen leaving his apartment in New York City before returning with take out. This past weekend, Andrew joined his girlfriend, Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde for ELF and Revlon’s Run/Walk, which benefits cancer patients and survivors.
While out, Andrew wore a pair of Levi’s jeans with a varsity style jacket and sneakers. We usually see him in Levi’s jeans, but I’d love to see him switch it up and try a pair of Rag & Bone. We haven’t seen too many guys out in Rag & Bone for Men, but I am sure it’ll catch on and be as popular as the women’s styles.
