The details on this jacket are interesting; there are a couple of patches and pins added to it, which I wonder if Amanda put on herself or if they were already on there? I’d love to see better photos of the jacket to see if there are more patches on there.
Soulland have collaborated with Lee on a denim jacket and a pair of jeans which will both be available exclusively in Good Hood & Colette now. It’s the first ever brand collaboration from Soulland to date, so it’s very exciting! You can see more info on the collection just below, but I think the prints are really cool!
Launching exclusively in the UK with The Good Hood store, cult denim brand Lee collaborates with Danish contemporary label Soulland, dropping a limited edition collection of polka dot patchwork jeans and denim jacket.
With Scandanavia as the go to destination for denim, the duo make for the perfect partnership, noted as its strongest market, following the UK and with London being the worldwide hotbed for style, Lee look to the city for a particular focus this season. In suitable timing, Soulland also warm up to London with their highly anticipated debut at London Collections: Men this January.
The perfect pairing offers both a rich history of expertise with a 125 years of Lee, and an innovative fresh take on menswear with Soulland, who continue to raise eyebrows and set the bar high. Saturday 10th January saw the brands take over the entire shop window of The Good Hood Store in Shoreditch, to unveil the collaboration on rotating mannequins with a green screen backdrop; an imitation of the brands LC:M presentation, which kicked off simultaneously over the other side of London.
Lee’s UK Manager, Damien Ladwa, comments “It is great to work with Soulland on this project. The product is fresh and reflects Lee’s position as a denim brand with a real contemporary edge” as Silas Adler, Co Founder/Designer of Soulland mentions “As one of the first branded collaborations, we are very excited to be working with such an iconic global brand as Lee’’.
The collaboration is just the beginning of an exciting journey ahead!
There have been many shortalls in the market, but surprisingly none were cutoffs like these here. I also think Miley did a good job with styling them for the cold weather by pairing them with tights and heavier shoes. What do you think of shortalls with tights? Will any of you be wearing the combination?

Beginning in January 2014, Lee will announce a year long campaign of Birthday celebrations. For now, Lee has released a brand new campaign for their Fall/Winter 2013 collection, titled Move Your Lee. You can watch the new campaign above and you can find out more about it below.
Previous to the dawning of this iconic celebratory year is the new FW13 installment of the Move Your Lee® campaign in the form of a cleverly orchestrated VIRAL.
Building on the dance theme from the previous season, this high octane viral video takes cues and nuances from art house cinema and musical choreography to deliver a broody and emotive short film that is equally enticing and mesmerising. There is a deliberately stylized mood to the piece that was directed by Arnaud Uytenhove with choreography by Celia hall and shot in downtown LA.
The video is presented as an almost hypnotic experience, the movie is talking to the very heart of your unconscious, sweeping you up into the intense moods set to a stirring beat laden soundtrack that serves as a perfect accompaniment.
