Yeah! Another fashionable celebrity pairing their denim with sneakers. This time it is one of my favorites, Leighton Meester. She was spotted making her way through human traffic in New York wearing a pair of Ksubi Spray On Skinny Zip Jeans Luxury Dirt and Nike Dunks. It is nice to see her wear sneakers. It is the complete opposite of Blair Waldorf.
These jeans are such a great fit on Leighton. They are the perfect length on her. I also like the wash. It is like a faded blue mixed with a bit of gray. I think she has such a great style both personally and on the red carpet. It is feminine yet there is a tomboyish comfort to it. Much like Ellen Page, but more feminine.
Everyone wants news instantly. So why can’t denim brands give theirs at the same speed? That is what Ksubi is doing. Using technology to their advantage, the Australian denim brand has launched their own Youtube channel. The brand themselves have said that, “The channel will be used as the official platform to view Ksubi projects live streamed from around the world.” You can expect to see various films, shows and projects from over the years featured on the channel. To coincide with the channel launch, the brand will also feature a film that they have produced and hosted themselves at the The Very Small Mall during the Splendour In The Grass Festival.
I think it is such a great idea what Ksubi is doing by starting their own Youtube channel. It gives their loyal followers exclusives from around the world, instantly. I checked it out and I think the content is great. Also great news if you will be attending the festival, founders of the brand, Dan Single, DJ Dangerous Dan, and Paul Wilson, DJ Howlin’ Willy, will be on the ‘IBEEFA’ floating stage at the event. You can click here to check out their brand new Youtube channel.
Mickey Rourke was spotted out and about with girlfriend Anastassija Makarenko in New York. He was wearing a pair of gray Ksubi jeans. I wonder why not that many celebs have been spotted wearing Ksubi. I think they are one of the greatest brands out there. Are any of you readers a fan of Ksubi?
