Metallic was a big trend for Fall, so why not show how they can work for Winter as well? I chose the Joe’s Ankle Skinny Jeans in Silver (click here to buy) for this styling post. These are a pair of jeans that are bold on their own, but when styled a certain way, you can either have them as the base of a look or as the stand out piece. You can see my cold weather ready looks below.
For the first look I went for a minimal approach by pairing them with neutrals so the jeans stand out. I styled them with the Topshop Borg Biker Jacket, T by Alexander Wang T Shirt, Bottega Veneta Belt, and Celine Sandals. I wanted to break up the look a bit with the red belt. That little pop of color keeps the upper body from looking like a marshmallow. Just like the belt, the sandals help the look as well. When there is this much lack of color going on at the top, a shoe like this helps keep the outfit look modern with its barely there style.
Silver is a color that I find works really well with neutrals, but when styled with the right colors and pieces, it can work as a base just like every other pair of jeans. For this look, I decided to pair the jeans with the J Brand Daria Shirt, a Topshop Puffer Vest, Marant Lazio Boots, and a Diesel Belt. I could not think of any other style denim shirt to pair with these pants. I think one that is patched with different shades and slightly oversized works best with the silver. I would suggest tucking the shirt in and roll the sleeves up as wearing it this way dresses down the smart aspect that silver jeans tend to give off.
Comedian Whitney Cummings made an appearance on Brand X earlier this month to promote her new show Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings. For the appearance she wore the new Joe’s Jeans Leather Pants in Black with their Oiseaux Embellished T Shirt.
Are you guys interested in seeing Whitney’s new show? I think she has some great comedic timing most of the time, but I am very interested in seeing how it will be. I am sure being put up against friend Chelsea Handler is probably nerve wrecking for her. You can click here to purchase these pieces from the Joe’s website.
I think Victoria actually looks really good here! I like how she combined the paisley style print of the jeans with the black heels and a pop of red in her top. I also think the belt breaks up the combination nicely. Joe’s did a great job with these jeans, the print is really subtle, yet it’s still statement making. It’s the perfect combination!

Next to dip their hands in leather is Joe’s Jeans and in true Joe’s fashion they released them in an array of colors. It is not just leather either. They also released some suede styles. All are cut in their classic Skinny fit that will for sure flatter the body.
When I first saw these in the lookbook, I was breathless. I know I say that about every leather pants I see, but what I love about these is how classic they are and that they have front pockets compared to some of the others. So I have to say that these are more man friendly. My favorites would have to be the Fiery Red (above), Black, and Pewter Suede. That shade of red has really great depth to it that I find amazing. You can see all their styles below and click here to purchase them now from the Joe’s website.
