J brand jeans
How cute are these J Brand 620 Super Skinny jeans in Mulberry Brocade? I love the print on them! It reminds me so much of a textured and more abstract leopard print, but in a more sophisticated way.
These jeans feature a mid rise, a 30 inch inseam and a 9.75 inch leg opening. They have an ornate design and texture with the raised brocade pattern which is cut from polished sateen. I think these are absolutely perfect for Fall! Buy these jeans online at J Brand.
The ankle fray is a look that I have been a fan of and have been wearing it many years before it even became a staple for many brands. It is a great way to freshen up your old pair of jeans or just to add a casual edge to a new pair with a simple DIY. Though popular, it doesn’t mean that labels will be coming out with a secondary style of every wash with a frayed hem each season. Which is why I decided to change it up a bit and do a styling post on a customized pair of the J Brand Maria High Rise in Graphite. I love the worn black wash of them, but they don’t come with a frayed hem and with this being an easy DIY, it is just as easy for you to have the exact pair for yourself.
I wanted to do a look that had a classic sense, but with a little flare. When I first saw this RtA shirt, I knew it was the perfect piece to bring that type of look to life. The fringe in the back somehow makes the look feel more freeing. As a frayed hem and fringed t shirt can feel like a lot at once, I wanted to bring it down with timeless pieces, like these Toga Pulla boots and Saint Laurent bag. They add structure to the look without taking away that free spirit vibe that is given off.
I am such a fan of the way the fringe of a distressed hem falls against a pair of fresh white sneakers, like these Nike Roshes. There is a different type of chicness to it that even a cropped pair of frays just won’t give off. It’s a perfect pairing with staple pieces like this green Equipment shirt and a leather jacket by R13. Then to finish off the look, I chose a hat by Janessa Leon to give this look a more Rosie Huntington-Whiteley vibe.
As everyone is trying to hold onto the last leg of the Summer, I wanted to do a look that was breezy and something for nights at the beach hanging around a bonfire. I paired the jeans with a printed shirt by Saint Laurent (similar here) for its lightweight feel and it helps bring that easy beach attitude when paired with these Valia Gabriel sandals. As the pairing of the shirt and sandals also give an ethnic vibe, I wanted to carry that on some more with a Shashi bag to help complete the look.
-How many of you are thinking about giving some of your jeans the frayed treatment?
I’m surprised that we’re still seeing Kim in regular jeans and that she hasn’t switched to maternity yet! She did wear her J Brand Maternity jeans quite a bit when she was pregnant with North, so maybe we’ll see her out in them again as she gets further along. You can buy J Brand online from Shopbop.com.
Julianne Hough was snapped while out running a few errands in Beverly Hills. Although it looks like she’s not wearing her rings in these photos, Julianne recently got engaged to her hockey playing boyfriend Brooks Laich.
While out, Julianne wore a pair of J Brand Photoready skinny jeans in Mercy with a black and white print blouse and printed snakeskin sandals. I like everything that is going on in this outfit. I think the print of the blouse works really well with the jeans and the red print adds a nice touch of color to the whole look. You can buy J Brand jeans online from Shopbop.com.
