SSENSE asked us what our favorite pieces were from the new collection by IRO. It is a brand that is absolutely amazing when it comes to reinventing the classics. They don’t shy away from shape, color and interesting details like leather patching and open knits. You can see all my choices from the french label below.
Fucshia Ashville Leather Jacket
This jacket was chosen because of the color alone. I find it to be very fresh and can work for the current season and easily for spring. Wear it with dark denim for winter and over a white maxi dress when it starts to warm up.

LOOK BOOK: IRO Spring/Summer 2013
The cool girl is back for the new IRO Spring 2013 look book. This season she got rid of the heavy tweeds and knits of the previous collection and introduced light weight pieces with clean details. Also gone are the shreds that dominated her wardrobe each season.
You can see jackets, dresses, and shirts with eyelets to replace her shreds for a smarter look. Also seen are the IRO classics like bomber and moto jackets in new fabrics and colors. If this collection doesn’t make you wish for Spring to come early, I don’t know what will. You can see the collection below.
LOOK BOOK: IRO Men Fall 2012
No one shows the androgyny in there clothes quite like IRO. Each season they show how they can make the same pieces for both men and women; and make them look just as great on both sexes. For the Fall 2012 season it is the sweater above. You can see that both main images include a knit sweater with the same paneling and color.
The sweater is not the only style that IRO has to offer for the men. They also have a stripe knit, as well as a red knit. You can also find quite a few denim pieces this season as well, from shirts to jeans. IRO reiterated the classic denim shirt this season and featured them with leather patch pockets at the front. They also have amazingly tailored pieces (like they do every season) that will have many guys clamoring each other for. You can see the collection below.
