Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez had a lunch date at Pink Taco Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, California last week. It seems like Halle wanted to avoid the paparazzi as she hung back at the restaurant while waiting for the valet.
Both she and Olivier wore a similar outfit for the day. Halle wore a pair of Gap 1969 Sexy Boyfriend Jeans with a brown tee, a fedora, flip flops and sunglasses while Olivier wore a Broncos t-shirt and jeans with some interesting slipper type sandals and sunglasses. As boyfriend jeans go, I actually think this pair by Gap is really nice. They are not too baggy and not too tight either, plus the wash looks really pretty!

I have been asked by a few dedicated denim readers over time for my opinion on cheaper denim brands. I know here at DenimBlog we mainly only deal with premium denim as usually these are the brands which pay most attention to fit, details, denim and washes, however, I also understand that not everyone can afford the price tag that premium denim comes with. It is usually in the region of $180 and upwards, so it can be quite daunting to spend so much money on a pair of jeans.
This leaves you with two options, both of which I do myself. You can either buy your premium denim in the sale or on deal websites as outlined in my Cheap Designer Jeans post or you can opt for a cheaper denim option. When you do choose to go with the latter option, not all of the brands will have a good fit, a great quality denim or feel really nice to wear, so (like I have been asked) I am giving you my opinion on the jeans I wear and the jeans that I think are a great purchase for under $100! As you know, I am really fussy and particular when it comes to having great fitting jeans, so hopefully you will like this post as I am listing the cheaper brands that are definitely worth the money.
Every time Katie Holmes heads to New York, we always see a ton of paparazzi photos of her and her outfits! Katie has worn the double denim combination a lot. Most recently, she wore J Brand’s Aiden boyfriend jeans in Gemini with a Gap Chambray blouse and brown flats.
I think the general rule of thumb for wearing denim on denim is to make sure that they aren’t the same shade or wash and Katie didn’t really follow that. I’m not too crazy about these washes together, I think it’d be better if they were different shades or if Katie had added some color to break up the monochrome. Buy J Brand online at SSENSE.

Sarah Michelle Geller took her daughter, Charlotte, to ballet class. Although Sarah’s new show, Ringer, was cancelled, she has some exciting things going on. She and husband Freddie Prince Jr are expecting their second child together.
Sarah Michelle hasn’t broken out the maternity wear yet, she wore a pair of Gap’s 1969 Always Skinny jean in Mcqueen wash with a slouchy sweater. Gap is having some great sales on their jeans right now and have a lot of trendy styles, like bright colored denim on sale.
