In honor of the 15th Anniversary for their famed Elwood pants, G-Star is launching a capsule collection. The collection, which was inspired by motorcyclists, centers around the Elwood pant, which helped to launch the brand to fame. The collection will also feature a variety of other pieces, such as jackets and shorts. The collection should be in stores later this year.
Unfortunately James who is pictured in the flyer, the son of Betty Choi and Craig Leonard; proprietor of the NYC, Miami and Chicago G-STAR stores, has Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects over 30,000 people who suffer with this illness in the US and over 10 million people who carry one of the known defective genes whether they know it or not. It effects the lungs and the digestive system which of course are two of the most important parts of our lives; breathing and eating.
25 years ago people with CF rarely made it into their 20’s, but today with new therapies and drugs life expectancy averages closer to 40 yrs and is improving every year. This amazing statistic has been made possible by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s relentless efforts. Over 90% of all money collected goes directly to this funding. By donating you will be directly responsible for helping improve the lives and the futures of children such as James.
The fundraiser will be a fun night with DJs Kay Mel & Seth Dynomite. For a minimum of $10, a donation ticket is purchasable at: G-STAR Stores in NYC, Miami, & Chicago or Bowery Electric Thursday May 19 7:30-11:30 or by direct donation at: http://www.cff.org/great_strides/bettychoi

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were spotted taking their children to the park in Primrose Hill, London. Looks like Gavin’s love for AG jeans rubbed off on Gwen. She wore a pair of distressed AG Heritage Slim Crop jeans in Railroad. These jeans are truly special. They have a 10 K gold button as the fastening. Gavin (see below) on the other hand chose to wear a pair of G-Star Arc Loose Tapered in Rugby Destroyed jeans.
I just love both of their styles. They never cease to amaze me. Gwen is never afraid to try new things and can go very out there, while Gavin is very simple and always put together. They balance each other out actually. You can click here to purchase G-Star at Ssense and AG jeans at BlueHeavenBoutique.

Joe Jonas, along with a bunch of other celebrities, was seen arriving at The Staples Center for Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Semi-Finals between the LA Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks in Los Angeles, California a couple of days ago.
Joe chose to wear his G Star jeans for the day which he paired with an Adidas t-shirt and sneakers. Whenever I think of the Jonas Brothers, I always remember them as younger boys, it’s hard to believe how much they have grown up sometimes. Joe definitely seems to love his G Star jeans though, he has been spotted in them quite a few times now.
