G-star Jeans
Jesse Metcalfe in G-Star
Jesse Metcalfe shared a meal with his friends at Kings Road Cafe in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, California last week. He was then snapped by the paps leaving the cafe and heading off to run some errands.
Jesse wore a pair of G-Star 3301 Slim jeans in Cleve Denim with some white Converse and a white v-neck tee. I always find the simplicity of this look on guys really nice, it’s always great when the clothes fit well, especially the jeans, but it’s a style that looks like they didn’t even try. Jesse most likely didn’t and just threw the clothes on but because of the fits being slim, it works well. I really like these jeans on him too, the wash is nice and they are flattering. G-Star’s RAW Magazine Available For iPad!
During this month of September, G-Star RAW begins the global distribution of over 4 million copies of its 5th RAW Magazine. Alongside the print version, the denim brand has also created a RAW Magazine for iPad! This interactive digital version includes video content on most of the topics discussed in the RAW Magazine and showcases more images.
“The RAW Magazine pulls readers closer into G-Star’s world. In the current edition, G-Star tells you more about its new and unorthodox brand face Vincent Gallo; talks to the daughter of iconic modernist Jean Prouvé about G-Star’s collaboration with Vitra; shows the must-have jackets for the season; and gives you a closer look into the G-Star women’s collections.”
The RAW Magazines will be distributed in G-Star Stores and through several major newspapers around the world such as: the NY Times (USA), the Observer (UK), The Sydney Morning Herald (AU), Urban (IT), El Pais (ES), Spits and Glamcult (NL), Süddeutsche Zeitung (GE), Sport & Style (FR), Natt & Dag (NO), MetroXpress (DK), Der Standard (AT), Kinki (CH). Jada Pinkett Smith in G-Star and Will Smith in Dolce & Gabbana
Despite rumors of a split, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith stepped out to do some shopping together. The two looked happy as they made their way past paparazzi with their shopping bags. Will even stopped to pose for photos with an adoring fan!
I think they’re one of few celebrity couples who both really seem to put thought into what they’re wearing and have a unique style. Jada wore a pair of G-Star jeans with a tee shirt and combat boots. Will wore a pair of gray Dolce & Gabbana jeans with a black tee.
G-Star Women’s Night
G-Star teamed up with Rosario Dawson to host a Women’s night at Kitson Studio in LA. A long time fan of the brand, Rosario, gushed about her love for the jeans, ““I love how [the denim makes me] feel very modern and futuristic. There’s just a different edge. You put them on and you’re like, Ooooo, that looks good.” The event celebrated the launch of the G-Star x Kitson capsule collection.
The collection features six pieces, including the Arc super skinny jeans, which Rosario wore. It also includes a denim vest, shorts, sweatpants, a tee shirt and canvas tote bag. You can view the entire collection in Jonathan’s post here.
Fashionistas and celebrities alike gathered for an exclusive shopping event and received beauty treatments from Warren Tricomi and Kleur, and music provided by DJ Mia Moretti and Violinst Caitlin Moe. Attendees included Kristin Chenoweth, Aimee Garcia, Brea Grant, Cara Santana, George Kotsiopoulos, JoJo, Kate Mansel, Tinsel Korey, Emily Montague, Tina Majorino, and Cheryl Burke.
