Tyson Beckford posed on the red carpet while attending the GQ Super Bowl Party. He wore a pair of 7 For All Mankind Slimmy straight leg jeans in lightweight black coated indigo with a G-Star leather jacket.
I really like this outfit on Tyson. I find that we don’t see too many guys wearing coated jeans, but I think they’re just as easy to dress up or wear casually, for men, as they are for women. I also like that he paired them with a leather jacket; usually I think coated denim and leather can look too over the top, but I think the sheen on the jeans is subtle enough that it plays nicely with the jacket.
G-Star has announced their latest collaboration, with singer Pharrell Williams. G-Star has teamed up with Bionic Yarn, an eco-friendly textile company for which Pharrell serves as the creative director. Bionic Yarn will incorporate recycled plastics found in the ocean into their textiles to create the G-Star “RAW for the Oceans” collection.
Pharrell explained that “Working with G-Star was an obvious choice, because they have a legacy of pushing the boundaries of fashion and denim forward. Bionic Yarn is a company built around performance, and denim is the perfect category to show the world what Bionic Yarn can do. Everyone has jeans in their closet.” The collection will be available starting August 15th. Check out the video for more information on the collaboration.

Josh Duhamel and his wife Fergie enjoyed their Sunday afternoon with their baby Axl in Brentwood, California while visiting some friends.
Josh wore a pair of G-Star Raw Jeans with some Nike’s and a simple white t-shirt for the day. I think these jeans fit him really well actually, they suit his casual style! For those interested in Fergie’s outfit too, she wore a pair of Black Orchid jeans and you can see the post here. I think both of them have great, easy style! Buy G-Star online at ASOS.com.

G-Star has launched a new concept store on Oxford Street in London. The store features a minimalist design and a uniquely redesigned “denim wall,” which has completely eliminated the physical wall.
Instead, 7 men’s and women’s styles are showcased throughout the store in a way that customers can interact with the jeans and experience the craftsmanship and materials directly. Additionally, the stockroom has been redesigned to be showcased behind a clear mezzanine, making the merchandise visible to all and encompassing the brand’s approach to keeping nothing hidden. This store looks really innovative and cool! You can check out some of the images from the store below.
