Miranda Kerr was pictured leaving her apartment on the Upper East Side in New York City yesterday. I’ve always thought it must be so strange to get used to paparazzi being outside your house, waiting for you everyday.
Miranda wore her favourite brand of denim at the moment, Frame Denim. She chose her Le Skinny jeans in Redchurch Street, which she paired with a black shirt and black flats. Usually I’m not really a fan of really light wash jeans paired with black as I often find the contrast of the shades too harsh, however I think Miranda manages to make it look good. The addition of the grey bag really helps tone things down in my opinion. You can buy these jeans online at Singer22.com for $199.

The search for the perfect trouser jeans has been an endless one the past few years with many choosing to go for a jean and trouser hybrid over a true trouser cut. This pair here by FRAME is nothing but in perfect harmony with what I have been searching for. As they say, “Good things come to those who wait.”
The choices in styling is endless, even with the black tie inspiration. Go for an Alexa Chung vibe by wearing them cropped with a crisp white button up, blazer and single sole pumps for work or go more casually with a slouchy t shirt and some slip-on sneakers. Whatever you pair wear with a classic 5-pocket pair of jeans you can wear with these. You can click here to purchase these jeans from Barney’s now for $240.
I have always wanted to know how FRAME would do the motorcycle trend. They are a brand that have fit down perfectly, so it was only a matter of the details in my opinion. They did nothing but surprise me with their Le Luxe Skinny Biker. When it came to styling them, I had three women in mind; Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, and Halle Berry. Each love themselves a motorcycle jean and have worn them each in their own way without taking away the edgy appeal of them. See the looks that were inspired by these three ladies below.
As we all know, Cara loves her street wear pieces with a mix of a late ’80s and ’90s feel to it. Her staples are usually a bomber jacket, a slinky shirt or tank with some bulky boots or sneakers. Then to finish it off she usually opts for a backpack instead of the usual handbag. With Cara, her jackets are always just as much of a statement as her jeans, so there was no doubt that I wanted to pair these jeans with a Scotch&Soda jacket. I then kept everything else monochromatic and paired it with a camisole by Topshop, then finished it off with a backpack and boots from Saint Laurent.
My review this week is on a brand that’s still relatively new, Frame. After discovering them this past fall and receiving a pair, I can say that there is no better name to suit the brand. I have always been envious seeing other men able to find skinny jeans that fit them and after getting this pair I can say that I now have a style that fits me just like that. From the details to the fit, click inside see why these have joined my ‘Top 5’ pair of jeans.
