DL1961 announced their newest venture, ACTIVEX, a denim line for kids and toddlers. The line combines DLX Technology and the antibacterial properties of SILVADUR to create a line meant to keep up with a kid’s busy lifestyle.
Made with earth friendly and machine washable dyes, the collection offers over 50 styles, for toddlers to adolescents, including styles for boys named after athletes, like the Jordan Straight leg and Hawk skinny jeans, and classic red, white, and blue washes for girls. Prices start at $39 for toddlers and $49-$79 for boys and girls. Jeans are available for purchase both online at DL1961 and in stores.

This season shows off some darker colours, like the Florence in Topeka and the Florence in Thornton (below), while they also utilized laser technology, eco-friendly dyes, American cotton and technologically advanced fibers to craft high performance denim and twills that never sag, bag or lose shape-no matter what. Here is the brand new DL1961 Fall Winter 2014 Look Book. I found this collection to be very dark and dramatic with the photography and styling as the brand opted for dark wash denim, often doubled up. I think it looks really edgy and cool though, definitely something different for DL1961! You can check out the other photos in the gallery below.
