DL1961 Jeans

DL1961 asked us to style their Amanda Jeans in Mayhem for our styling post this month. Even though the jeans are lighter washed and distressed, I still got the vibe that they could easily be dressed up, so I wanted to counteract the casual look of them and smarten the look up a little. To keep with the theme though, I went for a boyfriend blazer from Topshop, so the look would be a little bit slouchy, I layered that over a Victoria Beckham Two Tone Silk Shirt as I loved the cream and black contrast.

For the accessories, I chose a pair of Guiseppe Zanotti heels to smarten up the outfit, but the wedge still keeps it a little low key. I added some colour with a Diane Von Furstenberg Citrine Gacie Clutch and then some sparkle with the Baccarat blue french crystal necklace. When I started putting this look together, I actually got a Kate Moss vibe from the beginning, with the skinny jeans, oversized blazer and heels, but I added more colour than she would usually wear.
