We have all been tainted by the the denim suit that Justin Timberlake donned many years back. But as fashion is a constant revolving cycle and can grab inspiration from anywhere, could the denim suit actually become a thing this time around? At the Spring 2015 Dior Homme show, designer Kris Van Assche sure thought it should have another moment with the look above.
I will admit that I find the pairing of a medium/dark washed denim shirt with no fading paired with a grey suit nice, but I can’t see a full denim suit becoming something that the masses would appeal to. What do you think about it? Are you still tainted by Justin’s look of the past?
Poppy Delevingne was spotted out doing some shopping with husband James Cook in London. The model wore a pair of the J Brand 485 Lacquered Skinny jeans in Amethyst while her husband chose a double denim look with a pair of Dior Homme jeans and a Wrangler denim jacket.
I think both of them look great. I find James’ look to be very classic and Poppy’s to be fun. That Matthew Williamson coat has so much life on its own and takes the otherwise simple outfit to another level. You can click here to purchase other lacquered styles by J Brand from their site and click here for Dior Homme, then here for Wrangler.
It has been a while since we’ve seen Justin in his Dior Homme jeans, as it seems he’s preferred Nudie jeans lately, but these are wearing in beautifully. It looks like they have some really nice fading and creasing. See how else Justin has worn these before here.

Though not the boldest of colors, I still wanted to keep everything neutral when it came to the other pieces. I paired them with a shirt from T by Alexander Wang because I find grays and colored denim to work very well together. For the shoes, I wanted something that felt classic and would look great with the look if you chose to wear these jeans cuffed or not and these Acne boots are just that.
Then to keep things clean, a jacket by Makintosh. The clean lines and almost invisible pockets keeps the look feeling smart. For the finishing touch, a pair of glasses by Thom Browne because they are a daily staple for myself and work really well with the look. So how would you wear these jeans with this look? Cuffed or un-cuffed?
