Diesel Jeans
Gordan Ramsay in Diesel Jeans
Chef Gordon Ramsay was pictured chatting on his cell phone as he arrived at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California a few days ago.
Gordan wore a pair of grey Diesel jeans for his flight with a simple t-shirt and some Nike’s. I actually think he’s a great TV personality, I’ve seen a lot of his shows and the one working at the prison was really inspiring! Buy Diesel online at SSENSE.

Editors 8 Favourite Jeans
Each year I usually do my top picks when it comes to jeans. This includes the pairs I have been living in for months and the pairs that are my go to when it comes to denim! This time around I have about 8 pairs that I wear regularly and I have listed them below! You may notice that none of these include prints or patterns, they are all classics, except for one burgundy pair, but I also class them as very easy to wear and versatile.
1 – AG Adriano Goldschmied The Legging in 12 Years Dwight
These are my gorgeous AG Jeans that I bought from Shopbop a couple of months ago. I’m so glad I got them because I have been living in them ever since, they are my go to for a medium blue wash which is detailed and pretty. Every time I look at them I just get excited by how pretty the whiskering and fading is. They did an amazing job with these jeans and they are the best AG Jeans I have ever tried! You can read my review on these jeans here.
Diesel x Selfridges – No Noise Initiative
Diesel has created an exclusive capsule collection for Selfridges for 2013 named ‘No Noise Initiative’. Diesel is embracing the start of the new year by launching the exclusive capsule collection of iconic designs referencing cult pieces from the 90′s archive in support of the Selfridges ‘No Noise’ initiative.
The collection launched on January 11th and will be available until March 8th exclusively at Selfridges. The pricing will start at £55. The ‘No Noise’ campaign is a multi-layered project consisting of events, installations and concepts that each invites customers to “proactively seek out moments of peace and tranquility in a world that bombards us with information and stimulation”. In addition to this, Selfridges have confirmed the involvement of brands taking part to each create one-off pieces that offer customers a “stripped back collection of symbolically de-branded products that encourage considered purchasing”.
So, Diesel is leading the way and celebrating “the power of quiet” by offering a 3-piece capsule collection exclusively for the project. With reference to its heritage in groundbreaking denim design, the Diesel No Noise collection combines 90′s cult classics that celebrates the beauty of a minimalist aesthetic and focuses on product quality and function, rather than branding or advertising.
A purely menswear collection, Diesel No Noise will be limited edition with each design available in just 55 pieces. Featuring an update of some of Diesel’s most iconic 90′s cult designs, the famous DENVER denim jacket, cotton lined with tonal soft flock and heritage leather collar sits alongside classic light blue washed denim jeans designed using modern laser technology to recreate the traditional but popular old-school washing process. Completing the collection; a classic – an ‘Only the Brave’ t-shirt featuring a nod to the famous Mohican head design.
Paying homage to the Selfridges No Noise concept, all Diesel No Noise pieces have been entirely sewn without any visible external stitching, and as a twist, each piece has been designed not to feature a brand name, but simply the inclusion of the classic Diesel stripe tab. So what do you think of this little collection?
Diesel Black Gold Fall 2013 Men
The new Diesel Black Gold collection was inspired by a psychedelic rock band on a Cosmic Tour. Think Bob Dylan of the past and Jamie Hince of today. The pieces were cut slim and layered under tailored outerwear. Like the many other collections, Diesel kept with the trends for the men this season by incorporating shaggy/fur jackets and leather pants, as well as jackets.
Looking through the many shows, Diesel has to be in my top 2 so far for this season, along with Fendi. Mostly due to the fact that it was like looking in a mirror when I was scrolling through each look. The pieces were styled exactly how I would put them together for myself. You can see all the looks from the collection below.
