For their latest collaboration, Current/Elliott has teamed up with Mary Katrantzou for a new and inventive 9 piece collection. The collection features dresses, jeans, and shorts, with Katrantzou’s bold prints.
The inspiration behind the prints were the stamps and visas found in a passport, which makes for some graphic and colorful pieces. Weekend Going Out Look: Current/Elliott Boyfriend Jeans
Boyfriend jeans are definitely what I would call a new classic piece, since the trend hasn’t shown any sign of losing popularity. For my weekend going out look, I chose to style a pair of Current/Elliott boyfriend jeans for a more casual weekend look. I paired them with a silk pink blouse because I love the color and it is perfect for spring. I added a white blazer which adds some structure and polish to the outfit, then I chose the bright yellow chandelier earrings to keep the look a bit dressier and add some more color. I chose a pair of rose gold flat sandals and a leopard printed bag to finish the look.
This outfit would work well for a night time look easily. I’d put my hair up to show off the earrings and switch the flats to some heels and tuck the chain into the bag and carry it as a clutch. Would you wear a look like this?
Hilary Duff in Current/Elliott The Stiletto in Rose Gold Stars
I am so excited to finally see a celebrity in these Current/Elliott jeans! The Current/Elliott star prints have been one of my favorite styles lately and it doesn’t surprise me that Hilary Duff would be a fan too.
I really like the rose gold color of the stars and that they have a nice metallic shine. I think the rose gold sticks out more with the wash and I prefer it to the styles with the white or black stars. I also like that Hilary styled them casually, but I think they’d look equally as good with a pair of heels and a dressier top. You can buy these jeans online from Shopbop.com for $248.
Gwen Stefani in Current/Elliott Skinny Crop in Dark Cloud
Gwen Stefani was spotted heading to the doctors in Hollywood, California. The singer pulled out an older pair of jeans from her closet, the Skinny Crop in Dark Cloud by Current/Elliott to pair with a Barbara Bui jacket and some motorcycle boots.
I am obsessed with this look. Everything fits really well and the proportions are just right. I also like the addition of the beanie. I always say, ‘When in doubt, throw on a beanie” because it can really ‘make’ any look that you wear it with.
