The Current/Elliott The Stiletto jeans in Shredded has been one of the brand’s most frequently worn pairs on the blog recently. It comes in black, dark, and light indigo washes, so it is popular with celebrities who have all different styles. Both Cara Delevinge and Jessica Alba have been seen on the blog in their pair twice.
Cara styled hers with tough pieces like a motorcycle style leather jacket, while Jessica kept her black pair more polished with accessories like a blazer or booties. Mandy Moore and Drew Barrymore both chose the darker wash, Mandy wore hers with a simple white t shirt and sneakers, while Drew layered a plaid shirt over a t shirt and booties. Sophia Bush chose a lighter wash which she dressed up with a pair of animal printed boots.
Cara Delevingne was snapped while leaving a restaurant in Paris. She was in Paris for Fashion Week, where she walked in a variety of different shows, including closing out the Chanel show.
Cara wore her Current/Elliott The Stiletto Skinny jeans in Shredded with a blue hoodie, leather jacket, and red Converse sneakers. Cara definitely has the effortless cool girl look down. We’ve seen her in quite a few different brands as of late, and I’m sure as the year progresses, she may even be in the running for a denim diva spot! You can buy Current/Elliott jeans online from Revolveclothing.com.
It seems like we haven’t been seeing Jennifer Garner out as much recently. For a while, we had an almost daily Jennifer sighting! She and her husband, Ben Affleck, were spotted taking their kids to a local park though.
Jennifer wore her Current/Elliott denim shirt with a pair of dark maroon chinos and a pair of sandals. We’ve seen her wear this shirt a few different ways, but it’s been a while since we’ve seen her out in a pair of Current/Elliott jeans. I’d love to see her wear her Stiletto jeans in Tavern or Colonial Blue.
Distressed jeans will never go out of style and as of now, wearing them year-round is the thing to do. One of my favorites would have to be the Current/Elliott Stiletto in Black Shredded. The slightly washed black was given more interest with shreds that add just enough to keep them from feeling ordinary and feeling too much. Check out the three ways I styled them below.
When it comes to comfort without looking like you just rolled out of bed, adding a cardigan is the best thing to pair with your jeans. I found the color of this one from Topshop to work really well with the wash of the jeans. To compliment the sweater even more, I chose a bag from Chloe that is in the same color scheme. I then kept everything else simple with a pair of Chucks and a muscle shirt from Current/Elliott.
Depending on your height, these jeans will be either be on the more cropped side or hit just below the ankle. This makes them pretty much perfect to pair with some slip on sneakers for anyone. As this look is pretty much monochromatic (with the grey t shirt by T by Wang and accessories by American Apparel and Alexander Wang), I decided to add some life with some leopard print with the Schutz sneakers. Leopard sneakers are just the perfect way to update an all black look…or one that is mostly.
Dressing up these jeans slightly is not hard either, when you think in a Paris Vogue editor sense. The ladies that run the mag love Current/Elliott and have been seen in them many times, so who else to get inspired by than them? Other than skinny jeans, their staples include a clean sweater like this one by Equipment and some wrap sandals like these by Isabel Marant. Then there are the accessories. As it is still Winter, a scarf like this Marc by Marc one is necessary and another staple, a classic belt like this Marant to finish it all off.
