Current/Elliott Jeans
New Style by Current/Ellliott
When I saw these in the new Spring 2012 Current/Elliott look book, I instantly fell for them. I just love the color of them. They are the new Skinny leather pant in Pebble. They are their classic skinny leather fit in a camel color.
I think Current/Elliott makes one of the best leather pants due to their simplicity. I like that these are a neutral earth-tone as well. Being a neutral shade, they will go with everything. They will look perfect with a striped tee and some classic sneakers. You can click here to purchase these pants at MadisonLosAngeles for $855.
Gwen Stefani in Current/Elliott
I love it when celebrities pull out an old pair of jeans to get some air, especially when they are from many years ago. Case in point…Gwen Stefani. She is the next celebrity to be caught wearing a pair of Current/Elliott Cropped Skinny jeans in Dark Cloud. The last time I remember seeing Gwen in these, was around the time she wore them during her Elle feature a few years back.
I think this is a really great look. Well…Gwen Stefani never looks anything less than amazing. That is kind of a hard feat for her to attempt. I am not a fan of matching shoes with your top, but Gwen somehow made me like it here. The different tones of gray are really great together. Denim Review: Current/Elliott The Stiletto in Grey Leopard
This weeks second review is on the Current/Elliott The Stiletto skinny jeans in Grey Leopard. If you are big fans of DenimBlog, you might remember when I first posted about these jeans and fell in love with them, many months ago. I finally took the plunge and bought them from Shopbop a couple of weeks ago and I am so happy that I finally did! I was hesitant for such a long time about spending so much money on a ‘fun’ pair of jeans, but I realised that these can easily be a staple jean as they are subtle!
The fit of these is actually my favourite cut from Current/Elliott. The Stiletto is their perfect skinny jean! It’s got a shorter inseam so it hits at the ankle and it’s super slim all over, the rise is low and I find it to be their most flattering cut. I took a size 27 in these instead of a 26 because I wanted to be comfortable in them from the off, usually I wear mine around a bit to stretch them out so they fit perfectly for a long time, but I realised that I usually end up wearing my jeans a little looser most of the time as it’s much more comfortable. I would say these ran true to size though and the denim is comfortable as it’s 98% cotton and 2% elastane.
Now the leopard print, where do I start! These are actually my favourite leopard print jeans that any denim brand has ever brought out! I love them even more than those Rebecca Minkoff ones from a couple of years ago! What makes me attracted to these is that they are subtle, unlike most brands who make the leopard print really full on, these are much more easy to wear because they essentially count as grey jeans. I also really love that the leopard spots are in a darker grey instead of a different colour and the fact that each leg is different, they are not symmetrical, makes them even better!
I can definitely see why these have been one of the brands biggest sellers! Everywhere has been restocking them constantly and so many celebs have worn them as well as many other bloggers, they are just such an easy take on the leopard print trend and so versatile! I’m glad that Current/Elliott know this too because they released these leopard jeans in so many colours! One of my favourites being the Fig wash, which is a dark red, and most recently, the new pastel shades! How many of you are a fan of their leopard print jeans? I would definitely recommend them to anyone! I’m so glad I finally bit the bullet and bought them! They make such a fun addition to my jeans collection! Buy these jeans online at Shopbop.com for $198.

LOOK BOOK: Current/Elliott Spring/Summer 2012
I quite like this look book. I think the themes that Current/Elliott come up with each season are just great. The backdrop is just amazing. I love the old Southern looking home. I like that this one looks like the girls are off at boarding school in the South.
For this season they didn’t use flowers as props like most of their Spring look books. The main floral detail was of course the jeans. The print came in shorts and jeans. There were also denim shirts and the return of the dresses in the classic blue this season as well. I also love the return of their distressed jeans. I think they make one of the best.
My favorite piece would have to be the khaki leathers and tops. I don’t think I have ever seen a pair of Current/Elliott Leathers that I didn’t like. They just make one of the best due to their simplicity. Their tees and tanks are amazing as well. I hope to see some of those stripes in their men’s collection. You can see all the pieces from the look book below.
Reese Witherspoon in Current/Elliott
Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth share a laugh as they left church together. Reese wore a pair of dark wash skinny jeans with her Current/Elliott jacket and a scarf. I love the combination of the army green with the dark blue jeans and how her scarf ties it all together.
Reese’s film, This Means War, which stars Chelsea Handler, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, is scheduled to premier on February 14th. Buy Current/Elliott online at Singer22.com.

Emma Roberts in Current/Elliott
Emma Roberts posed for a photo at the Tao for T-Mobile’s Google Music Event at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. She pulled her Current/Elliott High-Waisted Skinny jeans in Eagle back out to get some air.
I actually like this look. I think the ASOS heart shirt is really nice. I like that it is the classic button-up, but the heart print helps dress it up in a more different way than just a plain white one would. I do think that the neon red lips are a bit strong. I know it is a trend, but it is very severe here. Buy Current/Elliott online at Singer22.com.
