Citizens of Humanity
For my weekend going out look this week, I wanted to something casual and perfect for running errands and shopping on Saturday or Sunday, in gloomy, wet England. It’s chilly here right now, but it’s not cold enough to warrant layering up on numerous coats, scarves and hats, so my outfit here, centered around the Citizens of Humanity Rocket high rise skinny jeans in Axel reflects that perfectly. I chose these jeans as the black skinny makes a great base and these are incredibly comfortable!
I paired the jeans with the iconic Chloe Susanna boots as these make a statement on their own, while looking chic and stylish. I wanted a bit of Autumnal colouring though so I chose this Hobbs Sara sweater in plum burgundy to spice it up a little and then for warmth, layered on a leather jacket, like this Saint Laurent leather biker jacket. To keep it from looking too dark and black though, I lightened the ensemble up with this Wallis beige tote to add some neutral tones to the mix. This is definitely something I would wear myself if I had the pieces! What do you think of it?
The ever gorgeous Miranda Kerr was snapped out with her son Flynn for a mommy’s day of pampering in a spa in Los Angeles, California.
Miranda wore a pair of Citizens of Humanity Rocket high rise skinny jeans in Icon with a white top, a black jacket and some black flats. I think these jeans fit her perfectly, the length, the sizing and the rise is everything she loves in a high rise jean!
We used to spot her in her Nobody skinnies a lot back in the day, but she switched to the Rocket in Black Diamond for a while, and now this gorgeous Icon wash. I hope we see Miranda out in these jeans lots more! Buy these jeans online at Shopbop.com.

For my look this week, I chose the Citizens of Humanity Rocket High Rise in Porter. It is one of my favorite styles by the brand in not only the fit, but also the wash. The fatigue of it has this life that just makes them standout from the other distressed styles.
I wanted to go for a layered look (as the cold has definitely hit) and play with contrast a bit with the prim sense of the sweater and accessories against the edgier jeans. To bring that to life, I paired the jeans with a knit sweater by NLST to be layered under a Haider Ackermann jacket. As I had this envision of the proportions exaggerated and the sweater being oversized under the more fitted jacket, I wanted to keep the accessories clean with these Margiela boots and Saint Laurent belt. It is a look that is different from the casual that I go for, but in the time of cold, it is one that works. How many of you are excited to start layering up?
Heidi Klum made her way through LAX Airport after arriving back into Los Angeles, California. The supermodel wore a pair of the Citizens of Humanity Racer Skinny in Miramar with her favorite plaid shirt and a pair of Brian Atwood boots. She also carried a Chloe sweater and Gucci bag to finish her look off.
I love that Heidi is such a fan of the Racer skinny as it is one of my favorites. She has been caught in numerous washes of the cut and I am sure that we will be seeing her in them more as long as they keep the style in production. I hope to see her in the On The Rocks wash next.
