Citizens of Humanity
The Citizens of Humanity Avedon in Axel would have to be one of my favorite black jeans that I have ever found when it comes to solid black. They are all around black with a lining of the same shade (harder to find than you think), that allows you to cuff without any cutoff. So when they released their Racer in Black Diamond, which are a lower rise with a leg opening that is just a tad larger, my attention was instantly grabbed and I decided to style them three ways for this week.
This look here is something that is a staple look for me when the temperature cools down. A parka should be a staple for everyone, just like a great pair of black jeans, and this River Island one will pretty much make any outfit. Sometimes a parka just won’t help you beat the chill, so a sweater underneath can be necessary. This one by Tothem adds that extra warmth with the fleece lining while adding some interesting texture with its neoprene shell. Then to finish it all off, a pair of Timberland boots and some Oliver Peoples sunglasses.
Hilary Duff was spotted doing some shopping at James Perse in West Hollywood, California with son Luca. The singer was on trend in all grey with a pair of Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans in Rollins with some Isabel Marant boots and finished it off with a studded tote by JET.
We have recently been getting quite a few sightings of Citizens lately and this is the first time we have seen Hilary in them in a while. I would like to see her wear their leatherette as she is a fan of leather and the Rocket looks amazing on her here. Jessie J got snapped by the waiting paparazzi while attending a Lady Gaga concert at the Annabel’s Club in London, England a couple of weeks ago. I always think it’s really cool when other famous singers go to concerts.
Jessie wore a pair of Citizens of Humanity Rocket High Rise Leatherette Skinny Jeans in Black with a black and white striped leather jacket and black heels. We really are seeing so much monochrome lately and black and white together in outfits. Usually I would think the roll neck and embellished necklace would be too much here, but it works on Jessie, perhaps because her stomach is showing a little bit to break things up. Speaking of these jeans though, I absolutely love them. They are one of my favourite black jeans. Buy these jeans online at Citizens of Humanity.

Rihanna was spotted heading to the recording studio in New York. The singer wore a pair of the Citizens of Humanity Avedon skinny jeans in Axel with a DKNY for Opening Ceremony sweater, Timberland boots, and one of the most amazing coats ever; a vintage Versace.
I always get happy seeing Rihanna wear these specific jeans. They are actually one of my favorites of all time to see her in. Not because she always looks and styles them amazingly, but they are just a great pair of black of jeans. This one has to be my favorite courtesy of that jacket. I still cannot get over how perfect it is. You can click here to purchase these jeans from the Citizens of Humanity website for $178.
