Citizens of Humanity
January Jones headed out to lunch at Little Dom’s with a friend in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, California a couple of weeks ago.
January wore a pair of Citizens of Humanity Dylan Loose Fit Boyfriend jeans in Vertigo with a crochet top, hat and sneakers. These jeans have a very subtle blue and white pinstripe all over them, which I found to look really strange at first. It’s definitely different, seeing pinstripe on a boyfriend fit, so I am still deciding if I like these or not. What do you think of them? Buy them online at Bloomingdales.com.

Lea wore a pair of Citizens of Humanity Racer low rise skinny jeans in Slash with a white jacket and boots. I really like the wash on these jeans though, it has some nice fades on the front and a slight marble effect below the knees. You can buy Citizens of Humanity jeans online at Shopbop.com.

The counterpart to their new women’s Fall 2013 collection, Citizens of Humanity went classic for the men. Highly influenced by English classics with hints of military, Citizens used new techniques in their fabrics and design functionality.
Of those new techniques, the brand introduced its version of the herringbone selvedge in a rich charcoal hue among other colors such as hunter green and more. Along with this new fabric, the new collection also includes an array of raw and dry selvedge indigos. See the new lookbook below.
Here is the new Fall 2013 lookbook by Citizens of Humanity. Inspired by the rock’n'roll bohemian groupies of the ’60s, think Anita Pallenberg and Penny Lane, the collection featured pieces in distressed washes with a natural aged appearance and subtle whiskering for a “worn in” feel.
The collection did not lack modernism though. To keep it feeling fresh, Citizens added contrasting textures of slick leatherette, suede-like super stretch, clean sulfur colors and dark indigo washes allow for a high society drifter feel to add a polished edge. See the lookbook below.
