The leather jean is nothing new for women. It has been a huge trend the past few seasons with each brand coming out with their own interpretation. Though I do think that it won’t become a staple for most men, I find, the style to still be cool and easy to pull off when you keep everything else simple.
Next to release their take on ‘man leather’ is BLK DNM. As a company that basically specializes in leather (their jackets are sick) just as much as they do in denim, I am sure these will not be anything less than pristine. Plus, they won’t break the bank as much as one of the many lust worthy pairs by Saint Laurent. If you are looking to change it up a bit you can click here to purchase these pants for $995 at Nordstroms.
Gisele Bundchen was spotted sight seeing with some friends and her daughter in Paris, France a couple of weeks back. The supermodel wore her BLK DNM Jeans 4 in Dusty Grey with some sandals and a simple t shirt.
I wonder if Gisele got these custom fitted? Most styles by BLK DNM tend to, well are, on the high-waisted side, but these are more of a medium compared to those. Or maybe it is just Gisele being blessed with the perfect form that gives these the illusion of looking perfect? You can click here to purchase these jeans from REVOLVEclothing for $245.
The wash of these jeans are really amazing. They look as if they have been washed and worn for years. There is a lot of depth to them. I also find the fit to be a great one for Gisele. I’m not usually a fan of skinny jeans with a higher rise, but these are an exception. You can click here to purchase these jeans from REVOLVEclothing for $245.
Madonna has recently released her new album and new track Girl Gone Wild and during the video she wears a pair of BLK DNM jeans 8 in DLNCY BLACK, which is the labels popular high rise, stretch jean. The brand was conceived by Swedish fashion designer Johan Lindeberg and you can see them around the 2:15 mark in the video. You can see the video by clicking here.
I never included the video in this post as it’s a bit risque and not really very safe for work, so you can just view it on YouTube in the text link above. I find this song to be quite boring though, it’s not really a track I like and the video reminds me so much of Lady Gaga, the guys in tights and high heels is just like her Alejandro video and the black and white dancing reminds me of Born This Way. I know Lady Gaga has been known to copy some of Madonna’s songs and antics in the past, so maybe this is a way of her referencing that?
