Trend Alert: Return of the Bleached Tie-Dye Denim
The bleached/tie-dye denim look has made a resurgence this season. Brands like Textile Elizabeth and James, Barbara Bui, Joe’s Jeans and more have all come out with their own interpretation in various colors.
The great thing about this turn around on the trend is that it is not just limited to jeans. You can see that Textile has come out with their Western Shirt with bleached detailing that they are calling Cloudy. Barbara Bui is quickly becoming the next big thing in the design world and she proved it with her Spring 2013 collection. If you are looking for that medium between the over-the-top Balmain and the laid-back Parisian cool of Isabel Marant, then look at Barbara Bui. Her clothes are simple and chic which is perfect for every women, everyday.
This is probably one of my highlights for the shows that have the “Parisian Cool Chick” category. The clothes were clean, lightweight and there was a ton of leather (A DREAM!). The scarf in Look 23 was also a highlight for me. Yes! Finally printed tribal scarves are back and that one is sure to be a popular one amongst quite a few people.
