Digital Luxe Denim is a brand new concept from AG Adriano Goldschmied for Fall 2014. I saw the new jeans last week in London at the showroom and completely fell in love with them! I’m a huge fan of AG Jeans anyway, but this new idea is so inventive and innovative, I know it’s going to be a big hit.
DLD utilizes photocell printing to replicate the weathered appearance of lived in jeans on their luxuriously soft sateen. This means that they literally print a photo of distressed jeans onto a pair of plain jeans, creating what looks like a genuine pair of ripped and worn in jeans. As you can see from the photos, the print looks completely real and you wouldn’t know that they didn’t actually have rips in unless you felt them. The distressed areas are 3D and expertly done.
One of the best things about these jeans though is how soft they are, the sateen feels like silk and is incredibly stretchy, so you can’t get more perfect than that! Not only will you be able to pull your jeans on quickly without putting your foot through the rips, you can be in comfort all day and your legs wont get cold either! You can see the three washes available below. What do you think?
I’ve been a big fan of denim pencil skirts and chose to style the AG Adriano Goldschmied Erin Skirt for my weekend going out look. I love the slim fit of a skirt and how this style has a raw hem. I wanted a denim on denim look, and chose this chambray style shirt from R13. For a relaxed vibe, I would wear it tied at the waist but it would look great tucked in as well.
To add some interest to the outfit, I chose these Camo print flats from Valentino. I added a little bit of color with red tassel earrings from Oscar de la Renta and finished the look with a classic pair of aviators from Saint Laurent. Are you a fan of denim skirts?
Taylor Swift was snapped out and about on a rainy day in New York City, doing some shopping. She definitely looked ready for Spring and I’m enjoying seeing her on the blog more lately!
Taylor wore a pair of AG Adriano Goldschmied The Legging Ankle Jeans in Sulfur Light Fatigue with a multi coloured check shirt, red bag and lace up booties. She forgot to take the back pocket tag off though! Oops! There have been so many times that I almost did the same thing, ha ha! I love these jeans on her though, she looks great in AG Jeans and the outfit is really pretty! Buy AG Jeans online at Shopbop.com.

AG Adriano Goldschmied has gone back to nature for Spring Summer 2014, exploring elements of flight and weightlessness while foundation denims and AG-ed Vintage washes keep the collection down to earth. Colours recall the early morning transition from dark to dawn, with elegantly shaded hues, hushed pastels, and sun-warmed neutrals. Prints of feathers, dandelions, and abstract bird nests are woven throughout and they look really intriguing. Spring also marks the debut of new add-ons: belts in rich, buttery leathers to complement the understated luxury that the brand have. You can check out the full Look Book below and the details on the collection!
Tonal layering mixes textures in nuanced hues of sand and blush; the silken Luminous Tank floats beneath a slouchy zip-front cardi dress, striking a balance with the Absolute Legging’s sleek silhouette. The chambray Marcel Shirt pairs effortlessly with the weathered Drew boyfriend jean, while the Radiance Tee reimagines an everyday basic in a whisper-light mix of modal jersey and rayon piecing.
Zipper accents deliver a modern touch to fluid dresses, knit layers, and the newest skinnies of the season—the Taxi Zip, detailed with a mini zip pocket at the outer thigh, and the Reagan, a paneled style with ankle zippers along the inseam.
A touch of the unexpected elevates both on-the-clock essentials and downtime classics. Contrast piecing adds interest to fundamental tees and oxford shirting. The nature-inspired prints of the Dive Bomber denim jacket and the Aviator S/S Shirt are low-key but forward-thinking options for incorporating pattern, with ties and pocket squares to match.
Brilliant white selvage offers a palate-cleansing take on denim, as twills and sueded sateens supply toned-down shots of color. The Kannon trouser and short feature a two-tone waistband with drawstring closure for daringly pared-down style. All-terrain influence is evident in the Utilitarian slim and the Expedition pant, capturing the adventurous spirit of the collection.
