Rihanna got bombarded by her fans as she was leaving her hotel in Manhattan, New York City yesterday. Every time we spot her now, we always get some denim!

This time Rihanna wore an Acne Fever Trash denim jacket over some black leggings with some black heels. I can’t say I am overly fond of how this jacket looks, I don’t mind the rips and shredding, but it’s not very flattering. I prefer my denim jackets to fit a lot better than this one. Acne Fall/Winter 2012

Here is the new Fall/Winter 2012 Acne collection. There was a ton of leather this season. I also find the collection to be very retro, very New Wave with the color palette and the silhouettes.

I find the looks to be very strong with the styling too. Separately, I think the pieces will work very well. I can see them being very popular with the younger hipster crowd. You can see the collection below.

Vampire Diaries Star, Nina Dobrev, covered the February issue of Nylon Magazine wearing a pair of cut off Siwy shorts. I love how they added the fringe embellishment to the pockets of the shorts, a great way to give them some edge! Rihanna was caught getting onto a private boat ride in Hawaii. She wore the Fever Torn Jacket by Acne to cover up her silver bathing suit. I am on the border with this jacket. I usually love distressing, but I think with the size, wash and tearing, it looks a bit 80′s for me.

Rihanna’s style has changed quite a bit over the past few years. I will admit that I think her style now suits her much better than her glamazon, futuristic look. I just wasn’t much of a fan of the futurism trend. Now she looks much more relaxed and looks less contrived. You can click here to purchase this jacket from the Acne website for $620.
