Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn arrived for Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France a couple of days ago looking quite happy.
Kate wore her Hudson Krista Super Skinny Jeans in Misunderstood again, this time pairing them with a black turtleneck sweater and some suede boots. I’m really loving the combination of oversized sweaters and skinny jeans right now! You can buy these jeans online at REVOLVE for $189.

Kate Hudson was spotted making her way to catch a flight at LAX Airport. The actress wore a pair of the Hudson Krista Super Skinny Jeans in Misunderstood with some suede boots and a lightweight button down.
I think Kate has the perfect California style, in my opinion. She never looks too fussy, but always looks put together. She mostly keeps a beach boho vibe when it comes to her everyday look that I also favor. How many of you are a fan of Kate’s style? You can click here to purchase these jeans from REVOLVE for $189.
In Fall 2014, Hudson Jeans wanted to shake things up, guided by a strong internal philosophy, they made the decision to be a little more public about who they are and what they believe. At the same time, there was a fear that being so honest might lock them into the growing sea of campaigns focused on feel-good advertising. So Hudson decided to head into Fall 2014 with something that would get people talking – and it did.
Now in 2015, they get to bring it home with the second phase of their declaration, called FOREVER FORWARD. Because Hudson isn’t only about great denim. That’s their vehicle, but what they are driving is a much larger set of beliefs. Hudson believe you can thrive doing what you love, which I absolutely agree with! The brand is inspired by people who pursue this idea with reckless abandon and they believe those people can be anyone. Any one of us who imagine the world better. Anyone who is forever searching, forever reaching and evolving. This is why they are doing a real women campaign.
Here are the very first two images from the brand new SS15 campaign, the rest will be released very soon, but it features real women. MADELINE HARMON (Devoted to Denim) is featured as the Vintage denim collector and connoisseur. Madeline is one of Hudson’s favorite examples of what it means to be devoted to denim. She lives and breathes it, and we can relate. ARTO SAARI (Devoted to Story) is an iconic professional skater and photographer, Arto Saari is a profound example of what it means to be devoted to story ÔÇö both in crafting his own and using his passion for photography to tell the stories of others. What do you think of this new concept? I think it’s pretty cool as being devoted to denim myself (I live and breathe every moment of it), it’s wonderful to have someone celebrate that.
I wanted to choose a pair of jeans that were a bit different from the usual classic cut and the Slash jeans by Hudson are just that. The exposed zip and the lace-ups on the side add a cool vibe to them that is edgy and modern. The details standout, yet being kept tonal to the wash of the jeans, it keeps them versatile and can take you from chic to something more casual. See the three ways I styled them below.
I wanted to take these jeans to a more feminine route with this look here, something that is very prim. I chose to pair the jeans with a t shirt by Rag & Bone and boots by Saint Laurent. I then added a few feminine touches to the look with a coat by Scotch & Soda and a Vita Fede cuff to finish it all off.
I wanted to go for something that was a little in between with this look here. Something that still felt chic while still having a casual sense. Pairing the jeans with an old school pair of Adidas Superstars was the first thought. The cropped fit along with the details gives off a Parisian chic vibe when paired with the sneakers. As I am not the biggest fan of pairing together white shoes with a white top, I went for a black men’s t-shirt by Theory for the slouch that it’ll offer. Then to pull it all together and take it away from casual, a long tailored coat by TOPSHOP.
This is the most casual of the looks, but unlike most of the my other takes on casual, I chose a pair of Sam Edelman ballet flats as the shoe of choice. We don’t see much of them lately and I find that they play off the jeans really well. To keep that casual/Marant-feel going, I chose a slouchy sweater by TOPSHOP (similar) and a woven belt by Caputo & Co.. Then to finish the look, a heavy knit scarf by White + Warren to keep the chill away.
