When the biker/motorcycle pants are done right, it just amazes me and this pair by 3×1 is one of those pairs. As a brand that chooses fit first (they do custom fitting at the Mercer St store), they then find a way to incorporate trends in a way that is all their own.
For their take on the motorcycle jeans, 3×1 kept it clean. There is no ribbing or extra stitching to detour the eyes away from the interesting seaming. Also, taking their style away from the usual conventional jean style, 3×1 has made theirs with patch trouser pockets that lay flat on the hips to show off the figure and flatter it even more. These will add edge to anyone’s closet. You can click here to purchase these jeans from Shopbop.
I’ve been a fan of these 3×1 W3 Channel Seam Skinny jeans for quite some time and I decided to create my weekend going out look around them. Overall, I wanted to keep the look pretty causal and incorporate some darker colors for fall. I chose this Rebecca Taylor tweed motorcycle style jacket because I think the black and white tweed goes well with the white stripe of the jeans and I layered it over this slouchy, sheer tank from All Saints. I think the jacket adds a nice polish that can transition this easily from running errands during the day to drinks or dinner at night.
I wanted to bring a bit of color into the outfit with my accessories. I’m looking for any excuse to wear boots and I love the color of this wine colored pair from Madewell. I liked the dark green color and shape of this Wendy Nichols bag. Lastly, to add a bit more color to the outfit, I chose these Gemma Redux blue triangle earrings.
Chris Colfer was spotted arriving back to his hotel after doing some promotion for his new book at Sirius Radio in New York City. The actor wore a pair of 3×1 M3 jeans in Collister with a Ted Baker shirt.
3×1 has this amazing bleached out wash that I have just fallen for. It is a very light blue that I find to be perfect during this transitional time of the season. You can wear them cuffed with a short sleeve button up in the summer then with a heavy knit cardigan for later in the fall. Check them out here and click here to purchase the M3 in Collister from their website.

3×1 is a brand that is growing quite a bit in popularity since its launch. To coincide with their launch across the pond, they will be holding their first ever women’s customization event over the weekend (August 3-4) for customers to create their own jeans from start to finish. For £450, you will be able to choose the fabric, thread, back pocket shape, coin pocket, hardware and inseam all to your taste.
After you have chosen all your personalization, 3×1 will send the designs over to their 15 Mercer Street in New York City studio to create the jeans and within 2-3 weeks you will have your own pair that is true to your personality. So, how many of you will be attending? Share your designs if you are.
